That would be a shame. I know there’s plenty of H1 masks out there to choose from, but it’s always nice to see official ones. I hope we at least get to see a ton of HD pics of the mask after the movie comes out.
That’s 100% the problem here. It’s people upscaling low quality images, and then using AI to try to clarify them. The AI is looking at the mask as if it’s a face, adding wrinkles, cheek pudges, mouth creases, and other traits that aren’t there. We’re not seeing the actual mask, only what an AI thinks to be a human face.
Well Wouldn’t they need to buy or come to an agreement with the maker of the actual mold if they decided to go that route? I’m glad it’s something new from the ground up. It wouldn’t be a Halloween movie if we didn’t get another new mask (or two)!

That second shot of him walking in the shadows is beautiful, THAT is the Shape. It reminds me so much of H1 and H2 Myers. It specifically reminds me of the scene in H2 where Laurie’s in the elevator, and as Myers slowly walks towards her, there’s a close up shot of him showing the nose down of the mask, partially lit up very similar to this shot here.
It reminds me of Michael walking down the hallway in H2! The posing in the screenshot is almost a perfect recreation! I love that we’re getting Myers stalking the back alleys in the flashback scene. That was honestly my FAVORITE part of H2!
