Don’t know but it looks like both the Halloween I and Halloween II mask, depending on scenes(Back alley looks like HII, attacking cop looks like H1)

They probably got a really good custom.
Idk but I do know Zephro wouldn’t answer as to what it was or would TOTS be releasing it. So that tells me we probably will get it otherwise he would of said NO.
The H2 vibe doesn’t get me excited… because this flashback is supposed to take place during and resemble HALLOWEEN 1978!
Nor does Halloween II even exist in this continuity. This community has reached the PINNACLE of Myers masks. The 75K has worn shots floating around these forums that literally look plucked straight out of 1978.
HOW can nobody involved in production stop and look at the pre-production progress, converse with Nelson and the FX crew, discuss with Mabry, or even do online research into what is missing here?
Why is the collar so tight? Why does it resemble Halloween II more than 1978? Why does it look so squeezed together and clean? Why do I pick up the almost CGI smoothness of the sculpt akin to the H20 KNB?
I’m horrified at the thought of what COULD be seen in that screen grab vs what we are all looking at.
Yes. It looks ok. But considering the lighting, Loomis, set design, etc. you can gather they wanted to knock this out of the park. But it’s a miss for me.

Rumor is Chris nelson sculpted it by himself and does not plan on releasing any not thru tots or anything… I’ve heard it could be a scape goat and if the fans like it then he might change his mind but it’s all rumors nothing confirmed at all and man I’d love to kno the truth just as much as u guys

In what way was that sort of comment warranted? I’m passionate about this series much like yourself and everybody else here. There are a number of members here who throw such wild barbs at others for expressing opinions.
I’ve been a member of this community for over 16 years. Shoot up a theater? Seek help? Real classy man.
My only concern is this: sometimes through out the movie the collar will be opened and other times closed shut tight. Now as we know, H1 the collar was always open wide and in H2 the collar closed tight.
I feel like none big Halloween fans will look at this is a mistake/goof. Saying in one shot the collar was like this and in another it was like this, blah blah blah. Where as big fans know they are going for a mix of H1 and H2, but to others who don’t get it, it will look silly.
Now I do feel they should have had it opened wide to go with the feeling of H1 for the flashback scene. I understand they are trying to go for both an H1 and H2 feeling/look, but for H1 open collar.
I agree the collar should be open since it’s H1, but in H2, there are actually a few moments where the collar is open. First is when Michael walks up behind the nurse and lifts her up, next is when he appears under the red light in the parking lot and walks past the fence, and the last time (from what I recall) is while he is being shot by Loomis, but the collar is closed as he falls to his knees. I don’t know why they had it closed up for most of the movie, because it looks so much better, and more accurate to H1 when it’s open, especially considering it’s supposed to be the same night.
My fav shots in H2 are under the red light, after the needle in the brain, and the reflection in the side view mirror on the car.

Came across a higher res image that’s zoomed in just a bit. Honestly, with everything that’s been brought to us in the franchise over the years, I have zero complaints about how this is looking. Super excited!
