This Movie Fucking Sucks Elephant Balls. Period. Worst Rendition of Michael Myers I’ve ever seen. Rob Zombie, leave the drugs alone dude for real. H1 was decent, but you went far left on this one. You strayed way too far from what made Michael so iconic for all the years. Its almost as if you’ve never seen a Halloween film before yours ever. You couldn’t have possibly been a fan.

Well, i’m a fan, and a hardcore one at that, and i couldn’t disagree with you more. Watched it for the first time yesterday in the UK and thought it was one of the best in the franchise. Each to their own though, right?

well I for one know it was not a remake. Of course it was a “reimagining” as was the last one by RZ, but that one I liked, this one I couldnt stand.

Too many things that made Myers great for all these years were changed drastically. He didnt even tilt his head in this one. He had some sort of giant Rambo knife instead of the kitchen knife, and his grunting was ridiculous, I hated that most.

It’s selfish enough to put his own wife in every movie, but to give her such a big role is crossing the line. She was in it more than Myers was. Every sequence with her, the horse and little Michael got so tedious.

Every kill was nearly the exact same: body on ground and constand stabbing downwards. There were others, but way too many of the same kill.

The editing came way out of left field, something the first RZ didn’t have, which is why it was a lot like Devil’s Rejects as previously mentioned. It wasnt as if the whole movie was like that, it only happened in a few scenes so it did not match at all.

Then Annie’s death scene was all screwed up from beginning to end. The did a stupid slo-mo on her runnign away, then cut away. Then when she’s officially dead, the movie tried to give you a nice somber “cry for her” scene with the audio muted and music that would fit a movie like Gladiator when the main hero dies. That also came out of left field and did not fit in the movie.

The list goes on. I rarely ever take apart a horror like this. Prom Night (awful) and The Hills Have Eyes 2 (awful) were the two most recent that I couldnt stand and this fits right in there.

I went with a buddie of mine who is good friends with RZ and goes on tour with his son’s music group and he told me he was going to have a few words with him after he saw this.

Cmon, 15 people left my theatre. That’s more than the most I ever saw leave which was a group of 5 leave Ang Lee’s Hulk.

This isn’t the Myers we have been watching for years. This is the new take on the franchise…I loved it and can take it for what it is. The old Halloween sequals have ended and this is here and now. Rob Zombie didn’t destroy the franchise…Halloween Resurrection did.

It really shouldn’t. Why remake a sequel?
The one thing I will give Zombie credit for with this one is at least he took it in his own direction and it had nothing to do with Halloween II (1981)…except the beginning dream sequence, which has to be an homage to the original Halloween II.

RZ remade the first one…makes sense to keep it going since its supposed to be the same night.its just a continuation of the first,he should of CONTINUED.makes no sense not to.he went on to a differant movie entirely,well except for the awesome beginning when he started to continue the first movie.alot of people talk sh**t about the white horse but i wouldnt even mind it if he went ahead and consentrated on making the majority of the movie where MM chases laurie thru the hospital,like it should of been.

He strayed to far? Have you seen 6 and 8? I have seen all apparently you aren’t the fan if all you do is bash and bash. If you were you would let it go. Just as I left F13th remake go.

Why would you make something we’ve already seen? That’s why I hate the remake, it’s practically a carbon copy of the original. The only difference is it’s trashiness.

my excitement seeing the h1 trailer for the first time was all about getting the same feeling i get when i see the origianal…and i did.same kinda situations.seeing the new actors and a new director portray the situations in the origional,in a new way.and thats what happened.why did he do it with the first and decided to go astray with the second?someone said he wanted to piss off real halloween fans and im starting to believe it.h2 was ok,but not anything that i expected. h1 was what i did expect,a REmake of carpenters halloween.its kind of like someone that cant sing try to sing a great song and ruins it,but you have someone that can really sing,sing the same song and it comes out great.RZ starting singing great than went off key like a muthf**cka.now im gonna go watch the blob before its remade and ruined ,later guys.
