Hell yea lets go!!! I wasn’t a huge fan of Halloween 2018, but im still stoked. Hopefully they make some changes to some of the things that didnt work for me. Please no comedy, took me out of it, would love to see more mood and atmosphere, dont need any nods or easter eggs to past movies in the franchise at all, also took me out of it, etc. We’ll see

And me. The Dad and his silly jokes took me out of the movie.
Hopefully it’s just called Halloween 2. Can’t imagine a world where we don’t 3 movies tittled halloween 2

This really get my giblets gyrating… in a good way.
Kill off Laurie in the sequel this time, and then kill off Karen at the end, and have no comedy in it, whatsoever
Halloween 2018 was a mixed bag for me. I loved the design of the mask. Some scenes were great, some not so much. The pacing also seemed a bit off. I was also hoping for cinematography that resembled the look of the original film, in terms of the light and shadow. There wasn’t much stalking in this film which is what Michael does best. This includes his ability to seamlessly maneuver through an environment. I hope we see more of this. And also, more tension, more Dread!!! One scene that is burned into my mind is when Michael enters Laurie’s home at the end. “The Shape is Monumental” is playing and the camera pans up to reveal a shadowy silhouette of Michael with blood coming out of his hand. This was frightening and badass.
Oh no…well, can’t say I’m surprised. Just kill Laurie already and end it, please. If I’m being honest, I wasn’t a fan of 2018. It was ok Iguess, but it just didn’t do it for me. I hope they get it right with this one.
I don’t know if anyone with a say in these decisions view these boards (would be a smart move) but I and many others implore you- pace the movie, have more character development, way way less comedy.

Michael has basically one hand left…so, it’s going to be interesting to see what kind of one arm kills they come up with. And Laurie hunting him down is all wrong for these films. It doesn’t have to be about “strong women”… heck, I’d run away too!
Have to say h40 was by far my favourite movie last year. Hope they continue this one straight after that film. Basically part II.
Please, People need to stop calling it part 2 when its actually part 3. Its like people are disregarding H78 and saying H18 is part 1 when its not. Its drives me almost as crazy as somebody calling Michael Myers Jason.
It’s their own fault for calling it “Halloween” when it was a direct sequel to “Halloween 1978”… They should have given it a subtitle. Halloween: The Boogeyman Returns. Or something like that.
No comedy, and please for the love of god, more stalking. The scariest part of H78 was watching Michael stalking the teens, getting closer and closer behind them, until pretty much the final part of the movie. It’s the buildup and the dread that makes a Halloween movie, not the constant slashing
Amen, that’s what made the original so brilliant, closing the gap,instead of walking down the street and casually going into random peoples houses. I know he had to get his weapon of choice, but come on.
And the passion begins to flow yet again! All I can say is I am happy to hear we don’t have to wait another decade for another installment!!
They should named it halloween 3, let the “beginner fans” confused lol
