HALLOWEEN (1978) COVERALLS MATCH

I dont know if theyre rare, but Ive bought 5 pairs of sears/1 roebucks jumpsuit.
This is the only pair Ive come across in this color though.
I bought another green Sears last week, They looked like the tex green in the peebay auction.
When I got them are closer to olive/spruce green but they have the old-school brass donut hole jean button on the collar

You need a 36r Dang one size too big, I was gonna say I have pair of 38r sears.

I do have a set of 38r big macs as well, but not sure if the sears would fit the same way, plus I have a new bass I currently have to save for and a trip to Japan

No problemo, Im not ready to unload all my Searsyet anyway. Ive got too many projects on the go right now
I might end up taking my time and adding/sewing on jeans buttons on the collars I dont know

Take your time, look forward to seeing what you do with them

Thank your for the kind words! I bought some modern donut hole buttons from etsy today :drinkers:
There a pretty close match in design to the Sears pair.

Those are spot on to them if you ask me

Thank you :myers: theyre pretty close to the wreath design, the only difference between the modern ones/sears.
Is the Sears button is one solid piece of brass, the new ones look like two pieces of metal punched together.

Most of them are like that already though, aren’t they? Even vintage ones

They have the same fastener. i mean the actual buttonhead itself. instead of one solid cast brass button.
the new one is a brass top and the sides of the button are a cheaper metal

Ah, my mistake, I see what you mean now

@TheGhostlyShape
Is your 1978 replica still available or did you scrap the project?

I didn’t scrap it but I had to pause it. With corona, shipping from China is a no go and to have them American made would make the price too unreasonable.

Way to support your country

I’m one guy, I don’t think a 22 year old deciding to outsource a few hundred pairs of coveralls is going to destroy our economy dude lol

And that’s the problem especially from a person/people that claim to be a principled buyer/seller. You’re a joke. Lmfao

Nobody hired a clown, please return to your tiny vehicle.

Same type of person who would never actually buy it because they have no idea the real cost of custom clothing.

Don’t like it? Keep it to yourself and go make your own. Go have a hissy fit in some other thread or take a nap, jfc.

BoulderHillStalker- how and where another member chooses to source materials/production for a project is their business and their business alone. Your comments are completely irrelevant and unnecessary. Consider constructive suggestions next time you feel the urge to judge someone based on decisions that you have nothing to do with.

As someone who makes clothing, making just one pair of coverllas would take a long time by hand, so outsourcing is not a bad thing

I see we have a new troll in the house lol

You goofy nerds…oh it’s so expensive. Blah blah blah. Bunch of broke ass nerds here living in nasty apartments with these masks. Hilarious! Ol Caleb Croft takes his pics with part of his ceiling falling down behind him. Lmao. Bunch of losers. Blow me ā€œ-uck faceā€.
