Halloween 2 director's cut ending.*SPOILERRRRSSS*

Ok,guys…so I just watched the Halloween II directors cut online and let me say, there is a big difference between this and the theatre version.Basically,it shows every scene that showed in the previews but not in the theatre. Also,it shows an alternate ending that in my opinion is alot better than the first. If you want to know about it,keep reading. If you dont want spoilers, stop NOW!

SPOILERS
Alt.Ending to Halloween 2-It starts off the same with everybody going into the shed, and it starts to change once Loomis comes inside.Michael grabs him,and they both ram through the wall of the shed. They both fall on the ground and of course Michael is the first one up.He pics Loomis up,and Loomis rips off Michaels mask. You can CLEARLY see Michael’s face at this point. Now,this is the one part that i did not like.Michael yells,“DIE!” and shoves the knife into loomis’ chest. After that,Officer bracket and his crew shoot down Michael(basically what happened in the alternate ending of H1).Then,Laurie starts to walk out of the shed, and you can tell that she is in complete shock. She kneels down and picks up Michaels knife. She walks towards Loomis with the knife in her hand and hovers over him, making it look like she was getting ready to stab the shit out of him.At this point,One of Brackett’s crew members shoots Laurie about 4 times.Bracket screams,“HOLD YOUR FIRE!”,but the man does not stop.It shows Laurie drop to the ground in slow motion. It fades out with Brackett walking towards laurie while playing the “love hurts” song, but making it alot more depressing, without the beat.At the very end,it shows what happened in the real ending. They show laurie in the white asylum room which obviousely means that she didnt die,but she is still a crazy bitch lmao.Well, yeah thats it.Let me know what you thinkk!

the white room was actually suppose to be ‘‘lauries heaven’’ from what rob zombie said…
but sounds good…PM sent…

Wow! I like it better than the Laurie wearing Michael’s mask!

I kinda like it better but Michael talking NOPE SORRY not for me

Yeah I saw the DC just now it was a little different and new scenes were added mostly with Annie and Lauries therapist, also slightly extended hospital scenes. And the ending whheeeww that was a shocker with Michael. Also the ending is on youtube for those who want to take a look.

Michael takes off the mask, instant fail!

sounds much better to me.

and again with the F’ING white horse. what the hell was zombie on when he wrote that pos??

Dren and Puck are right, EPIC fail on all levels.

Wasn’t even Loomis that takes the mask off, it’s Michael himself, and “…DIEEE!”? Are you effin’ kidding me LMFAO!?!

It would have been better if he’d just given Loomis this long, angry stare.

Oh, and notice the huge scar on Michael’s head from the grazing wound of the magnum that he was shot with at the end of RZH? No, no you don’t, because IT’S MAGICALLY NOT THERE! What a mess this film is all around. He was shot point blank with a .45 magnum, and not only survives (…yeah right) but a year later, he doesn’t have as much as a scar on his head from it. Get the fuck outta here with that garbage.

Even a graze from a .45 mag would blow half of your head off, no question. But if we HAVE to suspend reality in “Zombieland” then fine, but to tell me he’d have no scar, no blood, no disfiguration is straight retarded.

Fail.

Wow. could this movie get any crappier? What a shameful movie. I still might buy the dvd when it comes out.Maybe it will be a 2 disc set…I could use a couple of coasters to put my beers on, while I watch the real Halloween 2(1981).

In all honesty(Just my opinion guys) I didnt think I could dislike the movie more than I did untill now…Maybe th erest of it will be better in the edit but after seeing that I highly doubt it(IMO Anyways)…Thats just all wrong to me…Michael ripping off the mask and growling die to loomis, no I cant handle that at all…But If some of you guys like it thats cool…Its just way too far from the original character to me…Later guys

Amigoes, I’m always down for a little experimentation. I kind of like the idea that this is the one thing Michael has to say. Of about twenty years of silence, it’s the only thing that’s on his mind. The usual Rob Zombie sandtraps I can easily ignore. This movie was a very unique experience. Damn. I’d even say I liked it. Will I be flamed? Well, time will tell. But, tastes taste different on everyone’s tongue and in everyone’s eyes. I’m looking forward to seeing this. Peace!

Wow. This is sad. Kids…don’t do drugs!!

I think I will try and get my hands on this cut and the theatrical cut, then see if I can make a better version of the movie from the two.

Maybe by borrowing the best scenes from the two cuts (eliminating all references to the white horse stuff for one) and somehow (hopefully) finding a way to manipulate a better ending.

meh. call me crazy but i can totally handle michael speaking. he is human, so its nothing too out of the oridinary, and its not like he had full dialogue before so one word doesnt bother me. I believe in the early version of H20 he was supposed to speak but it was cut, so rob didnt make this idea on his own/

Don’t care.

The movie has come and gone, nothing can be done to change it. I’ve just taken it on the chin and moved on. Will always prefer this movie to H3-H6 whether Michael utters one word or not. It’s too old and tired to keep finding things to stamp on about Zombie’s films, we all know they aren’t cinematic masterpieces, just take them as they are and forget them. (As i try to with H3-H6)

Peace all…DIIIIIIIIEEEEE!! :unamused:

I like this ending much better save for seeing his face dead on and him saying DIE. Im looking forward though to grabbing both editions and once again thanks to Rob Zombie for imo putting some juice and balls back into Halloween and Michael Myers.
I just recently watched H5-H8 (mix of dvd and cable) and anyone who rates those pieces of trash above RZ’s films is nuts. H8 borderlines on embarassing. Its all subjective but thats my opinion.

I agree it was on-par with or better than H5, H6 and H8…and yes, H8 was as bad as they come. I disagree regarding H20 though, I enjoyed that FAR more than H2.

LoL, I slipped up on some things there didnt I Lol…I was in a rush but man that ending was just horrible to me…If you do this B then make me one bro…
