Halloween 2018: Jamie Lee Curtis Returns

I hope we get the teaser next week.

OMG that’s downright cool man.

Anyone know any of the OHMB mods? I can’t join because the register option uses an old Capcha that isn’t supported anymore :frowning:

No don’t know any of the mods. But the Capcha thing was keeping me from joining too.

Worked for me, that’s weird.

For the Captcha on OHMB, literally typing “reCAPTCHA V1 IS SHUTDOWN” ended up working for me.

So how legit are these supposed people HATING the ending to this mythical screening they saw?

I read somewhere recently theres going to be a h3 easter egg with some trick or treaters wearing shamrock masks, in the new halloween. I love that idea.

The test screening is NOT mythical. It happened. Now it’s being downplayed because the screening didn’t go well.

Didn’t H1 have a really bad test screening?

I was just going to ask the same thing…It would be absolutely ironic if the test bombed…I love it

A lot of movies get ruined by test screenings. H6 is a good example just in this franchise. Hopefully this movie doesn’t get ruined because some people who may not even be fans of the franchise didn’t like it.

I’m not worried about it cause whatever is wrong can be fixed as mentioned in the article below. All good

But who knows if that’ll be better. Some of the complaints was that they spent a long time on characters that don’t stick around long. Well that’s so when they do die we care. So that’s a dumb complaint. Another dumb complaint was that it doesn’t connect to the other films in the franchise. It’s a direct sequel to part 1 so why would it? It just seems like the crowd wasn’t bright and we’ll suffer for it.

That article mentions one person who said it was weak. Are there others?

EDIT: John Carpenter saying there has not been a test screening is good enough for me.

The screening did take place. The studio sent a cease and desist to one of the websites who reported on the fact it didn’t do well. They don’t want that out there.

Hmmm I wonder why they didn’t like the ending. Does Michael not die? I’d rather him not. Or leave it open ended like the original. H2O already had Laurie emphatically end him, I don’t want that all over again to be honest.

Oh that worked! Thanks!

This kind of stuff happens all the time, if I had a dime for everytime I read about a bad test screening oh man I would be plenty rich. Example: The Dark Knight got a bad test screening and guess what that movie was a bombshell. Broke box office for like a whole month and a half. I’m not saying Halloween 2018 will do that but I believe it’s gonna be really good. We got a good 6 months and I’m sure they will fix what needs to be.
