It is 2018. There’s going to be gore, period. It’s all about how it’s captured on film. As long as it’s done tastefully there isn’t an issue. expecting no gore like the original film is incredibly naive.
That being said, Also, didn’t Michael dress up as a ghost in the original, dig out a grave and place it on the bed, and place victims around the house? A human jackolantern head doesn’t seem too far fetched to me.
Exactly. Who knows what he did to the few who died offscreen? The Mechanic, Lester the dog. He even ate a dog or skunk…
Now no one can complain about the exploding head in H6.
Not exactly thrilled with the level of gore here but like Amorphous said it’s all about how it’s treated. It does seem like a progression of his “tricks” from H1 that I missed throughout most of the series.
Here’s hoping for at least one strangulation. Has Michael even done that since 78?
Possibly if you count Charlie the officer who got strangled with the fire ladder before he was hung out the window in H5
People wanna see gore. I think there would be a lot of complaining if it was done like back in 78 with very little too no blood.
