Looking at the screencaps, i would say that this is Nick Castle in both theses scenes. What do you guys think?
Some nods I noticed in the trailer to other Halloween movies.
- Michael standing in front of the doorway - H1 (top of the stairway scene)
- Michael walking straight towards the camera from across the street - H1 (Walking towards Laurie trying to get inside the Doyle house)
- The white ghost-sheet - H1
- The dog barking and going crazy at Michael - H1 and H5
- The kid bumping into Michael with the boombox - H2
- Michael’s reflection in the mirror - H2 (Car mirror)
- Michael getting his coveralls from the gas station - H4

We know the bottom picture is for sure based on Nick’s Instagram post. I sure hope the top pic is Nick as well. He always tells the story about asking John Carpenter how should walk across the street and what’s my motivation and John telling him…”just walk.” It’s part of the Halloween folklore.

Did anyone else see the new pictures released? I saw them earlier this morning, but can’t find them anywhere. I’m asking on this thread because the pictures could be a slight spoiler.
POSSIBLE SPOILERS: there is a picture of a cop in his car with his throat slit, a bald man with a serious mouth injury (missing teeth), and I believe a picture of Michael facing the camera with Laurie behind him

I think it’s doing great! 40 Years of pure evil isn’t just gonna do a stab or two…it’s gonna get nasty…
I’m terribly disappointed. I may even skip this one…
If Michael Myers hollows out a severed human head and turns it into a jack’o’lantern, there isn’t a chance of me seeing the movie.
As for the Ghost in a chair. I think That’s a victim. Look closely you see blood in the floor leaking from the victim. (Trailer)
Also notice that the dead Mechanic looks alot like JJC when he was younger!? Easter Egg maybe?
I does look a lot more gory than the original. However, I think they have still managed to capture the same feeling / look as the original film.
