That’s what I haven’t understood… They can spend $10,000 for the FX-artist to create and design the mask being used in the movie… but can’t buy a 75 Kirk and convert it?

Now that just scares me, How many avenues are they gonna take Michael down? We already see a 2nd Trilogy from the original franchise, then we see another version from RZ, Now this? We have a saying here in the Army, Stick to the basics! And thats what they need to do, Stop always trying to reinvent Michael, just go with Michael for who he is/was.

at least there’s a decent amount of time for preproduction. This movie COULD be very, very awesome.

I’ll remain optimistic, yet reserved, until we have a trailer. :slight_smile:

Keep in mind ladies and gents. IMDB is thee WORST site for real film news, unless you pay for IMDB Pro. There is no official news on H3 on the pro version of the site.

IMDB is like Wikipedia, ANYBODY can add whatever info they want without it being pre screened or proof read for accuarcy LOL! There is NO new news on H3 at this point. Even the last bit of news regarding Todd Farmer as writer and Lussier as director is currently in limbo.

Farmer penned a draft with NO PROMISE of him even being used, they at TWC just wanted something to go with if they decided to go with a new take on it. Lussier might be out for good as well as his schedule isn’t working with TWC’s plans. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, TWC has placed all, and I do mean ALL financial eggs is the proverbial Scream 4-6 basket right now.

Halloween 3 isn’t happening anytime soon.

it would be cool if a bunch of us here could make H3, instead of those asswads, we’d use a legit indie mask, use the basics John carpenter used, and make the best sequel (besides the original H2) the franchise has seen… lol i wish

I don’t remember that last part being there when I originally read it. Maybe someone edited it or something. Who knows? However, a sequel to Halloween 2 disregarding all the others sounds EXACTLY like Halloween H20. Besides, you can’t ever take anything from IMDB seriously. Everyone there is beyond full of shit.

Sounds pretty cool, but I guess time will tell what direction they take. A new Halloween film is exciting, I just hope they bring it out closer to Halloween then August.

yeah its all speculation and imagination at this point. i’ll just hang loose and maybe in afew short years we’ll either have new decent Halloween film to watch or it will be another i throw in the ‘hollywood halloween’ pile. however its always interesting to see what they’re going to do with michael next.

if they do make this, they need to try to get john carpenter, tommy lee wallace, and as many of the orginal writters who made this franchise what it is today to make this movie
