But if you’re getting $35 off of the normal $169 price-tag, can you really lose? At least you’ll get the 15-disc content for the price of the 10-disc.
Thanks! Even better deal.
Thanks Matt! Also picked mine up!!
Thanks for the heads up. Cant pass on this deal. Amazon also taking preorders $118.99 shipped for the deluxe set. I don’t think it will include the limited print though.

Hopefully the H6 p-cut will get a solo release…
Bingo! My thoughts exactly. I hope its high-quality and eventually sold as an individual item. I wont have the funds to purchase such a hefty item as this impressive collection. One feature that sparks my interest besides the much-anticipated official H6 P-Cut release is the limited edition 40-page book written by Michael Gingold of Fangoria Magazine.
Speaking of the H6 producer’s cut being in high definition, I wonder if the TV cut of H1 and H2 will be, as well, or if we’re just getting a DVD for those versions.
Is there any word on whether H6 & H20 will be remastered?? The Echo Bridge copies aren’t any better then the DVD’s.
The Shout Factory edition is already sold out!
Glad I got one.
Hard for me to get too excited about this box set, and I am a fan of the whole series (minus the Zombie versions). With every movie already available on bluray, I guess I just don’t see the point unless one is just starting off their bluray collection. Out of 15 discs, it appears only 2 or so haven’t been released yet. Like some other H6 fans, I have been dying for a complete, well mastered producer’s/director’s/666 Cut FOREVER. However, my gut tells me that the disc in the box set is probably no different or better quality than that on previous bootleg DVDs of it. “Totally” hope I’m wrong about that, curious to hear more about it, but I am suspect. Especially when things like “Ultra-rare Halloween TV version” are used in the contents’ description. “Ultra-rare”??? Really. I own that version on VHS, DVD and even laserdisc.
Including all deleted scenes that exist from all the sequels and an ultimate H6 version may get me to jump on the set, but otherwise I will pass . The Friday the 13th set was weak for the hardcore fans no doubt, plenty left out. But at least that one included 7 movies that hadn’t been put out on bluray yet.

NEVER BEFORE RELEASED Producer’s Cut of Halloween 6
That earns my dollar right there. Nuff said.
copied from a post on blu-ray.com:
From Daniel Farrands’s Facebook page regarding the Halloween 6 Producer’s Cut:
“No word on formats yet. I know it will definitely be on Blu. Whether or not it’ll be a DVD combo pack has yet to be announced.”

Wow glad I went ahead and jumped on it this morning.

I figured the Shout/Scream preorder would be gone quickly, just not 24 hours, glad I got my order in, also preordered their Sleepaway Camp release.
I took a chance as I own these on Blu anyway (outside of the Producer’s Cut 6 of course) but I’m HOPING that some of these will be fresh remasters.
It will be cool to have these but I REALLY wish they would finally release ALL the stuff, it’s time!!! There are tons of things not found in the officially released versions that will most likely NEVER get an official release.
Also disappointed that RZ’s H2 is the bogus unrated cut again, we can already buy that one and (imo) it is the weakest version. I’m not crazy about RZH2 but as a completest I would like to own the blu ray of the Theatrical outside of the locked Region B copy I have!
One other thing I hope to see included (and SHOULD be) is Justin Beahm’s 10-minute documentary “You Can’t Kill the Boogeyman” narrated by Andrew Divoff. This was screened before the theatrical re-release of HALLOWEEN back in 2012.
Insignificant as it may be, my concern is weather the TV cut of Halloween and Halloween II will be in Blu-ray format or just the same DVDs that we got with the Scream! Factory release.

But the TV cut of H1 has only been released by Anchor Bay on their 2 disc set - Shout’s never put out a version of it. My guess regarding the H2 TV cut is that it’ll be the same disc as previously released. At this point no one knows anything about the H1 TV cut though (not even whether it’ll be the true edited-for-tv 4:3 broadcast version or the hybrid 16:9 extended version released by AB).

Not insignificant at all Matt. I would love them to be both blu ray and NOT cut!!! As Billy pointed out concerning the Halloween II TV cut when it was released, there were parts CUT from the actual tv broadcast.

Hopefully Billy can get all the “unearthed” H1 goodies on this set, maybe the original H20 score as well in a unrelated addition. Regardless, this looks to be the ultimate for us fans.
The fact that he hasn’t shown up and commented here isn’t a good sign. Hopefully he has contacted Shout! about this though. We’d all be very grateful to see that extra footage.
I can’t believe the box set on Shout! Factory sold out that fast. Pulled up the web page the day they went on pre order and they were already gone… wow.
