Halloween Ends - Trailer

This looks like a bad fan film trailer when you watch the first few seconds and they yet again prove to be full on hypocrites with retconning the sequels when they clearly take inspiration from H4/H5 with that house alone. I’m just gonna leave this here

Dang. That house looks just like Rachels in 5

My thoughts exactly. I liked it. They showed just enough but not too much.

I like it, has enough for us to think about what’s going on but doesn’t show too much, idk about y’all but im pretty excited

They’ve got the house from 4/5, Laurie’s got her original outfit from 78 (and her wig from h2  ) but the trailer did get me pretty excited. The disposal also felt like an h20 homage.

This looks awesome.

Honestly thought was pretty cool. I like the fact the trailer didn’t reveal to much like the other movies did

That synopsis is VERY interesting!! I’m intrigued :jack_o_lantern:

I’m conflicted… on one hand, this trailer does have me intrigued, and hooked. This feels like, just from the trailer, that this is going to be a Laurie-and-Michael-centric film. On the other hand… Kills was such a jank entry in DGG’s trilogy that I’m not “excited” for it. I’ll definitely be going and seeing it, in costume no less, but I am NOT excited to see if the conclusion will “save the franchise” or not.

Halloween became too obsessed with itself as a franchise, over what it was supposed to be: a simple spooky campfire story with a cautionary tale about taking care on Halloween night. This is why I liked H18. While it definitely did submit itself to the obsession of the franchise, it had gone back to basics, and reminded us, in Hawkins’ words, why “there’s a reason we’re supposed to be afraid of this night.” This whole trilogy idea for it was a mistake imho. But, if we get a good entry into the series, I’d be happy with it.

Remember the “Christine” vibes this is supposed to have? The new character Corey Cunningham is mentioned in the plot synopsis, kinda like you know, Arnie Cunningham and his car? Corey and his Michael? Something to think about. They said weird, different, and make fans angry. Well…lol

So, it’s a possession movie. Cuz, Christine possessed, Arnie. Ok. I actually might like this then.

If it does indeed turn out like that

why……………….

I like the mask a lot, the change from Kills is subtle but effective.

Seems like the chalky bits have turned to dust and the mask has returned to a white-ish color even on the burnt side, however it seems like either
the latex is breaking down on that side, or there’s some kind of mold.

Regardless, I like the effect, in this shot it looks like a skull on the right side, lack of the burnt hair probably helps as well.

Visually to me it also speaks like, the Kills mask represented the rage of the Shape, Michael went on his biggest killing spree yet after almost getting burned alive, now it’s only Death, it’s the endgame. I hope that they’ll stick the landing for this final movie of the new trilogy.

Terrible. I’m extremely underwhelmed.

So more info I see more I think michael actually might of died in kills. Dave McRae actually saw scene in the trailer were his hand isn’t missing his fingers or thumb in the trailer. I actually made comment on YouTuber channel said watch it be copycat killer in ends but we’ll find out in 10-14-22

Oh boy

Well Michael is in it since he gets stabbed into his hand which is clearly missing the fingers. But whatch closely to who does it. Doesn’t look like a blue sleeve like Lori had on it looks like black coveralls
