We did learn from “Halloween” 2018 that Laurie Strode was in the honor society in high school. So from this, can we assume that Laurie went to college? Sure, she was recently traumatized a few months earlier in October before she graduated in late May or June of 1979, but mabey the disfunctional phase of her trauma didn’t manifest itself until after she graduated from college, presumably around 1983.
If she did graduate from college, what did she major in? And more importantly, what was her career?
If this is revealed in KILLS, it will be a surprise to me because I don’t remember reading about this in the script.
If this turns out to be true, mabey the reason for changeing the timeline of ENDS is meant to give Laurie enough time to recover emotionally from KILLS so she can return to her career. We know for a fact, if Allison survives KILLS, that she will be in college.
In order to understand the “containment” spoiler about ENDS, it has everything to do with exactly where Allison is attending college. It’s probably not a major public university with thousands of students in a city, but a very small boarding school isolated somewhere in a rural setting. Perhaps Laurie is teaching her daughter there.

Remember, the only career that Laurie Strode has ever been associated with in the entire franchise was that of a high school teacher/principal in “Halloween H2O”.
We know Blumhouse loves to make call backs and homages in this trilogy to previous films in this franchise, so this part of Laurie’s biography would clearly fit the pattern here.
So even if you have read the script for KILLS, you are still probably in for a few surprises.
Wear a TOTS mask instead. If anyone around you complains that they can hear you breathing in it just remind them that you sat there first and they should be six feet apart.
