In H40, didn’t Ray mention something about Lonnie punching a cop in the face? in the flashback scene picture, it looks like Lonnie bumps into a cop, I wounder if this is when he punches him in the face lol. I also think the cop in question could be a young Frank Hawkins who apprehends Myers.

I took it as we only seen half of the mask, which isn’t true. You can see it from the right, left, and front in the video. Both sides of the mask have a gash or wound. We know the side with the bullet hole, but in the video when we see his reflection in the bathroom mirror, you can see that both sides of the mask have marks or wounds so to speak.
In the other shot from the left side of the mask, if you brighten up the clip it sort of looks like it’s blackened a little bit from the fire grazing it. Hair looks a little singed but nothing overly crazy. I tried to capture stills but the crap quality on my phone only goes so far.
If you watch the video back with this in mind, or scroll through the video slowly, you will see all sides of the mask. Both sides have damage, but nothing that takes away the general essence of the mask, thankfully.
Seeing it from the front in that quick mirror shot though does confirm damage on both sides of the mask. The known bullet hole, and another bit of damage on the left.
The way I see it, they gave us something to talk about on here even though Halloween is over! 
Looks like charred hair and latex, which is evident in that shot from his left side.
Michael is probably getting his first look at the damage to his mask in that bathroom mirror shot…then is going to go ham on everybody

The video was posted to YouTube now in a much higher quality and full widescreen. Got a few grabs of some clearer images. The left side of the mask looks like it has an area around the cheek that probably bubbled up and charred. Also the hair looks black and charred on that side of the mask as well. Scalp is probably charred and bubbly on that side as well. Certainly not a full blown melted mask. Which is good, I don’t know why people want a damaged burnt mask, I’m over the whole damaged, rotted masks thing. I was done with it when RZ did it.
I must say I didn’t mind the subtle rotting effect of the 2018 mask, but was not a fan of there being a full blown melted mask. Which is not the case from what I see here, thankfully the general appearance of the mask is still in tact.
I say just grab a new mask anyway. It’s a movie, it’s believable the mask is still made for Halloween season and available at stores in Haddonfield. I mean hell, people commited several crimes using the ghost face mask in real life and those are still available in droves every year. So the excuse of not having the shape mask in stores at Halloween time in Haddonfield because of murders in 1978 is null and void in my mind. Lol. I just want a clean mask, so sue me. I miss it. At least we will get one in the flashback scenes I guess.
The images op there are flipped. That cheek wound is just the one he received at the end of part one.
I know, it’s all charred and melted and half bald on the other side right? If so then that’s a huge letdown for me personally. Not interested in Myers the two-face edition.
In fact that split second shot of his reflection in the mirror is also probably flipped, because the one side of the mask looks bald and ear area drooping down. I’m probably closer to what it looks like with that guess, right…I don’t want to be right about that though.
And that’s right, your the one who had the gunshot wound pic you didn’t share until after the 2018 film released digitally. So obviously you would know. 
I’m guessing black charred scalp and bald on one side, ear area melted or drooping or something to that effect. But one has to wonder, with all that hairspray in that hair why it didn’t just go up like a tiki torch lol. That hair would of gone up like firestarter anyway without the hairspray

Ends starts shooting fall of next year apparently according to Ryan Turek!
How many days did they film? This movie shoot seems longer than Halloween 2018
It was. They’ve technically been shooting since late August (they were shooting news reporter scenes back then), but main cast started on September 16th. It was a seven week shoot from main cast forward, almost two months.
They’re filming Kills and Ends back to back, so that would mean a longer principal photography.
I believe Ryan Turek stated that Ends won’t begin filming until Fall 2020. I know of the rumour that both movies were to be shot back to back, but I don’t believe that to be true.
