The more names get added, the more nervous I get that this is going to turn into Mortal Kombat Annihilation. And for those who know of that movie, you know what I’m talking about lol. Cram as many characters into the film as possible, and the story goes out the window.
I’m worried about this now. I really hope I am wrong and they find a way to make this good. But those hopes are getting dimmer by the day.

Well this collage is only going to grow. Look at that list of castings already. This is getting to the point of going overboard and there is still more to come.

Don’t get me wrong, I love fan service, and appreciate what they are trying to do here.
I’m nervous for the story. If it’s too convoluted with tons of characters, things don’t always turn out well in those scenarios as far as quality of the story and film overall. I hope I am wrong. Horror films, especially a Halloween film, should feel intimate, not packed full like an action flick. We shall see.

I agree with this. I’ll tell you another movie that had this problem…Spider-Man 3. Anyone who’s seen that monstrosity knows why :lol: Too many characters means multiple plot lines to keep track of, which makes for a very unenjoyable movie. Maybe they can make it work, but we’ll see.
While on this topic, did anyone find out if JJC is a green light for these two films? I noticed Nick say on his media accounts he’s be coming back, but that JJC still had the torch. Was there confirmation?

I’m glad they are finally having some continuity in the films as I still don’t understand how there’s so many different timelines considering how simple the story is at the end of the day.
It’s just doing more films and much less story with these sequels, then we just go straight back to the same movie, they should explore something better
Interesting, the first scenes are news reporter dialogue, but will it be on the same night or a year later? We shall see I suppose.

Am I the only one that feels like they should of shot 2018 and now the sequels in the original neighborhood? The location they use now doesnt feel like Haddonfield to me…
Nick is getting ready again lol. Hopefully he plays a bigger part this time. At least a walking scene, or something more than a distant fuzzy window shot. I love JJC, but hopefully Nick gets a little bit more to do this go around.
At least one solid scene would be nice to see. I’m all for JJC for the majority movie, but a nice solid scene for Nick I would like to see as well. He’s ready! Lol
