Heavily against, and it’d just confirm to me that these are just naked fanservice films like The Force Awakens was. Donald Pleasance’s voice being used is fine (there’s plenty of non-Halloween and I’m sure alternate take vocal work that he’s done that can be used), a vocal imitator like H:20 or a cgi presence is trashy.
R1 Young Leia was terribly animated, but I thought that the Tarkin CGI was brilliant!
To be fair, the vocal imitator for H18 wasn’t that good. I’ve heard better fan imitators on YouTube. His voice was too sharp and didn’t have a good low pitch. Plus that last “He needs to dieeeeee!” was just awful!

So as you can see JJC has growled his Michael Myers beard back. I bet were gonna see his face again. I wish not. This would also be a super great opportunity to keep you guessing to how his face looks after the fire and being shot in the face. I hope that’s not ruined.

Aside from the bullet graze to the face and the fingers blown off, I am hoping he got out before any fire damage. I really am not into the idea of a melted mask or burnt hair. Unless it means he finds a new mask along the way, I just would rather the mask be left alone, or he gets a new one.
We already had rotted damaged masks in Rob Zombies films, so I just don’t want to go down that road again. If they do, then thats just the way it is, but it won’t make me hate the movie or anything. I just want the mask to be left alone or swapped for a new one. I think it would be neat to see a clean version of the mask again, I miss it in these films.
Aside from the brief glimpse of a clean mask in the opening of Rob Zombies first Halloween, we will be four films deep with a rotted mask look. So I just miss a clean look, it won’t break the movie for me though.
They should have him steal a new mask like H4, but it’s not already sprayed white or altered, that should be shown in the film, how he would do it, then they have him wear it for the rest of the films
Examination of violence in culture…sounds interesting. I just hope it doesn’t mean copycat killers galore. Sartain was a bit of that examination, and I understand where that was coming from since he was so close to Michael for years wanting to understand him.
If they do a copycat killer/killers, then I am not sure how I feel about that. I still am indifferent to the Sartain angle. Hopefully it’s done in a way that doesn’t jump the shark and go full on Scream copycat killers.
You can never really tell what’s going on when JLC explains stuff, because she said similar things about the last movie, and while it did explore the traits of trauma, we still had the peanut butter on my penis line in there and the toe nail clipping young man himself stealing the spotlight, lol, so I’m going to try and not read too deep into it. It should be interesting one way or the other.
I don’t think they’re honestly going to have copycats… I think it’s just going to show how violence affects different types of people and culture as a whole which is really interesting!! Joker seems to be making similar commentary just not in the same way
