I hope that Halloween Kills is scary. I feel like H’18 was intense and frightening in moments (especially when we were wondering where Michael was at Julian’s house), but I want to be spooked in Halloween Kills. Hopefully it delivers in that sense!
Here in my small town in Texas: the movie theater, nail salons, tattoo shops, barber shops, and other small business are all opening up on next week on Monday 27th.
I hope we all get to see the movie as intended at the movie theatre! October is still a long way off so hopefully things will get back to normal before then. Halloween kills is my most anticipated film this year so my fingers are crossed
I did some research…looks like about 3 states are planning to open up, It also has reports of numerous business owners still refusing to open up thinking its a bad idea…this in my opinion will not result in everywhere else opening up…and if there is 3-4 states opening up you think they would start releasing movies because of that? lol no…wishful thinking
“We are committed to — and are excited about — releasing Tenet in theaters this summer or whenever theaters reopen. We remain supportive of the theatrical experience and our exhibition partners, and are confident that our tentpole titles, including Tenet and Wonder Woman 1984, are exactly the type of films that will have people eager to return to theaters,” Warner Bros. CEO Ann Sarnoff said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter."
not sure what else you need, but movies will get released as long as theatres start to open up (which they will be). Obviously not every single one is opening up all at once, but more and more will as the summer rolls around. But go ahead and continue to make bets.
Lol We will see…my point was I dont see studios interest in releasing movies to just a few states…No reason to beef over it though lets just get back to the movie…No need for snide comments on either side…The virus got everyone frustrated…I come here to have a good discussion about the movie I am not trying to argue or debate over this anymore I got a different opinion that is all
The thing is there are no movies scheduled to be released until mid July. Tenet is the first and that will be July 17. They’ve already said that they are releasing it as long as theatres are open. And since some theatres are opening starting next week, by the time July rolls around most if not all theaters will be open by then. That was my point.
As far as Halloween Kills goes, there’s really no need to push it back right now. They can easily wait it out and see how the first round of movies in July and August do box office wise, before they make that decision.
Well, if my theory proves right then we will be getting a trailer in June or July. But if i’m wrong and sometime before June/July they announce that they are pushing the movie back, then i wouldn’t expect a trailer anytime soon. At most maybe another teaser in October like last time.
I would love a poster it just a short teaser trailer! I’m actually watching the original Halloween at the moment.
Even if American theatres open in time for H-Kills I’m not sure the UK ones will, but if that’s the case I’ll have to watch it online in crappy bootleg Quality until it gets a UK official release on blu Ray !
