I guess Haddonfieldboogeyman got banned. That’s unfortunate, he was a nice guy for the most part, never really a trouble maker. But he definitely let a few of us have it yesterday which caught me by surprise because he’s usually pretty laid back.
I was very surprised he came at me the way he did when I never had a problem with him. I was just stating my opinions on things and he really let me have it. I still think he’s a good dude, just had a bad day. Ohwell what can you do.
Yeah, I noticed this morning that this thread was stripped and all his posts are gone everywhere like he never existed. What happened, in a nutshell? What was he going on about?
Well he sort of went off the rails because a few of us were speculating on who is playing young Michael in these flashback scenes, and that it’s possible that it was a younger guy and not Castle or Courtney. Well I guess he took it personal and he just blew up at us big time. We were simply giving logical answers to questions in a respectable manner.
I was very much caught off guard by it because I was always nice to him and spoke in a positive manner to him. Never had an argument with him at all for any reason. He was always nice about things, and then last night a whole different side of him just came out of nowhere. It was completely out of left field.
The fact he’s usually such a nice guy, is what shocked me the most. Never saw that coming at all. I think he just had a bad day, and it came out on here, unfortunately. I was always cool with him, so it was a shock to say the least. I won’t repeat the things he said, but it definitely broke all the rules of the forum, so I had a feeling this would happen.
I did reply back to him in a nice and respectful manner that it was a bit of a low blow since I was always cool with him, and still think he’s a good dude, just having a bad day. But then his profile vanished and that was it.
Anyway, steering things back on topic, I wonder how much they can actually do with a flashback? I guess there are some scenarios they could expand on, but obviously he won’t be doing any killing in those scenes since we know the body count is only the ones we know of in the 1978 film.
Carpenter didn’t want them filming the scene of him being captured that they originally planned for the last film, so maybe it’s a whole different perspective or something on that night. Hard to say, but very interesting!

Very true. There were a couple scenarios I was thinking of where he’s off doing something else back in 1978, but we never saw it. Maybe it doesn’t show exactly how he did something, but shows him enroute to said thing he does. Many possibilities with this. I’m very curious to see what they do.
I think it’s also an easter egg to the Schoolyard scene, but it’s without the bullies, because he is walking away

Turns out that clean mask is not the mask used in the film nor is it Chris Nelson’s work
Loving this thread, as almost every question I’ve had seems to pop up daily.
The optimistic side of me says that they will absolutely go as close the original mask as they can, seems like they are really doing their research to try and please the fans.
Wouldn’t be surprised if someone associated with the film is also visiting this site 
Wonder if they’ll be using one of Justin Mabrys sculpt replicas
they’re bound to be using the TOTS 78 mask, but have made a few tweaks in the details
I’m curious the direction they’ll take for his mask in these next two movies.
If somehow he can get a new mask for them I think might be better than a burnt mask that just keeps getting dirtier.
