I would be shocked if they used the TOTS '78. I also think the '18 Mask won’t be nearly as fire-damaged as people might think. Perhaps some scorching and some overall blackening, but not by much.
I will say this, and don’t ask me how I know this, a certain cough landmark cough will be making an appearance in Kills.

I’m definitely hoping we see the Myers house. Unless someone has maintained it over the last 40 years, it would be even more run down than it was in 78’. Unless of course we only see it in these flashbacks, which is also very possible.

If we see the Myers house in this movie, I will $#!t myself with excitement! 
The Myers House is probably gonna be featured considering there seems to be a lengthy 1978 flashback that for my money, likely opens the movie.
I doubt it’ll be present in the modern portion of the film though, as in the original HalloweeN 2018 script, Hawkins mentions it was torn down ages ago and a garden was built over it. That line of dialogue didn’t make it into the final film however, so maybe it’s still standing.
If they are doing a flashback I wonder if we will see the Doyle house as they are not filming where the real house is located

I wonder what we are going to see in this flashback! I still want to see the Myers house either in flashback or present day and it would be great if the Doyle or Wallace houses could be seen for a moment as well.
They are shooting a lot of flashback stuff. Yeah that looks like the stunt double for James from last year’s movie. Might just be having him take up the flashback Myers. I don’t see any bullet holes or wounds on him there, so this must be from another point in 78’ before he gets shot.
The house kinda looks like it could be a Myers house, but it can’t be because it has someone living in it with decorations on the porch and lights on, so it’s just a regular house unfortunately.
The mask is definitely a clean mask, but is it just a clean H40, or did they go all out and make a new mask for the flashback? What’s with these people taking pictures? Don’t they have a good camera they can zoom in on the mask and get a clear shot? Lol.
These are the clearest shots we have seen yet though. Very interesting.
