If you all remember the first teaser released a year ago, there was a short clip of somebody finding Michael in a bathroom, who we see in a bathroom mirror. I’m betting that’s where he plays doctor and wraps his fingers in bandages.
I see some people complaining that they don’t believe Michael would bandage up his own hands. I disagree especially this incarnation of the character. I don’t see Michael wandering around with a bloody hand. It’s just not practical. Anyways this trailer was perfect. Not to much but enough to give the epic feel I think this film will deliver.
I can see this version of Michael wrapping his hand up. Let’s not forget that The Boogeyman is no country bumpkin. He’s pretty damn smart and knows how to take care of himself!
Now I’m trying to figure out why the mask is laying in the street?
You know, as soon as I saw that scene and the mask laying on the ground I figured what probably happened was that the firemen arrived and they ended up finding Myers likely collapsed and they probably attempt to fix him up so they would definitely be pulling off the mask. So he probably come to and kills the firemen, and then he walks back to where they toss the mask and he puts it back on. That’s my best guess from seeing that trailer
My guess would be…while he toggles with lyndsey or marion at the black SUV it gets ripped off…then in the teaser you can see lyndsey being chased…chases her into yard…kills her…goes back for the mask
Could they possibly be tricking us? Maybe that’s the end of the movie and everything up until that point has led us to believe that he’s been killed? Then, in the final moments, he picks up the mask, fade to black, and then just some sounds of breathing. That’d be pretty cool.
I’m glad that it’s subtle damage and not completely over the top with the fire damage. That was a big concern for me, but I’m happy to see how it turned out.
I think any extensive damage to the mask (similar to that in my avatar) would only come towards the end of the film, otherwise we’d lose the whole mystique of the Shape.
I wouldn’t mind seeing extensive mask damage, in the final act of “Halloween Ends.”
Not trying to distract from the topic, but I’m curious to hear what others might like to see for the series after Halloween Ends. Should the series continue? If you think so, what should be done? Personally my belief, and hope, is that Michael Myers will be truly defeated in Ends, whether that will stay true or not we can’t be sure, but I think that it’s probably for the better that he does. But I don’t think that the series should end there, I honestly would like to see a return to what H3 tried to do, and make the series an anthology, a different story for each film, and those films could receive their own sequels or spin-offs as well. It seems very similar to what the Conjuring is already doing, but I would personally love to see a long-running anthology series based around my favorite holiday. Maybe that’s not the best idea, but that’s what I would like, what about you guys?
