***Halloween Kills & Halloween Ends Discussion***

It’s cool that we got something…still a little hard to get excited over new things since its a year out and Im still butt hurt over the pushback!

Cool shot!

Not really as excited about it as I possibly should be, but no point getting all jizzy with the film still being so far away, but hey ho, it’s a great shot.

Is it possible he’s in the Myers house in this shot?

I think maybe so since the stairs on the left and the railing/banister design looks almost identical. In the opening scene of the 1978, there was a door on the left. It was also too dark to see the window. In the teaser it looks like Allyson is looking up some stairs. Perhaps she’s looking at Michael or something he has done.

Apparently the script has leaked. Could someone please pm me a link to it? It would be much appreciated.

Do as ya wish my friend but wouldnt you rather just wait it out at this point? Be strong my friend! I can tell you right now there are some huge mind blowing surprises in this movie you will be upset if you spoil it for yourself by reading it in text. Again do what you wish but I just wanted to throw that out there for you dude! I was gonna do it too then decided against it

Believe me, I’m trying my very best to stay patient, but it’s so hard. It’s still 9 months away!:sob: Do you know where I can find the script? I’m only going to read the first five pages or so.

I dont sorry! Try to google it haha

I learned my lesson in 2018. By the time I saw the movie I’d already seem about 20% of it in trailers. lol

Yeah, I really hope they don’t give away too much in the trailers. Especially considering they had like 30 trailers/sneak peaks of 2018.

Someone cut together the current short trailers, and it doesn’t give away too much, but shows a lot of Myers

I love the color going on with the lighting, too. Just wish the colors on the mask wasn’t so warm, but I know that’s a common issue with shooting already warm colored objects in low lighting, speaking from experience. Dean Cundey used a lot of on-set lighting to fix this on the original Halloween.

does anyone have the new 116 page script of Halloween Kills that’s going around?

I don’t mind the warm lighting all too much but I bet they’re gonna do a lot more colder lighting especially in outside scenes since many people were complaining about that in 2018. There were a many scenes in the teaser that utilized this very well and had a pretty good balance of warm and cold.

Do y’all think they’re actually gonna release it in theaters this year? I know that’s the plan but haven’t most movies been going straight to demand still? Or heck, you’ll probably have to prove you’ve had a vaccine to go into the theater…

Blum said no matter what they will release it in October…I think it will be in theaters and also on demand…That seems to be the norm now…Personally rather watch it at home

really bums me out that the whole on-demand and in theatres thing is gonna be the norm. theatres were a part of my life man, every weekend to go and see stuff, especially horror releases with other people is a shared experience. ive missed it, and now that were seemingly closer to the end of this virus thing, to know its probably not even gonna come back and probably fade out genuinely pisses me the hell off.

the whole on demand thing also annoys me in that they could’ve just released HK on demand last october if this was gonna be the case. to be fair, they didnt know it’d still be bad, but knowing it was essentially delayed for them just to release it the way they could have last year demoralizes me.

I agree. I can’t believe that people are actually okay with the idea of movie theaters becoming extinct and everything going straight to VOD and Netflix. Studios spending 30, 50 and even 100 million dollars making a movie, clearly meant to be released on the silver screen, only to to be forced to release it on a small, flat screen TV and computer screen is blasphemous!

I loved the idea of just being able to mosey on down to the local theater, pay $7 dollars and watch a new and much anticipated release. Now I either have to have a computer with internet access, (Something I currently don’t have) or buy a big screen, high def tv with surround sound and get Netflix (none of which I have or can afford right now.) Seems like a hassle honestly.

Nothing beats watching a movie in a large theatre auditorium with surround sound. It’s the ultimate movie viewing experience. It’s not something that can become “extinct” or “go out of style.” I understand that a lot of people probably don’t like going to movie theaters because of all the loud annoying, phone texting moviegoers. Honestly I feel like there is a simple solution to this: Theaters should just start having more stricter rules about people keeping quiet.

That aside it’s simply the best way to watch a movie, especially for a major movie fan such as myself.

Why cant you believe that someone would want or prefer a VOD release? Kinda odd…People have different opinions man theyre just movies…Put that with the fact that not all theaters are the same IDK how it is where you live but around here you can’t even watch the movie without loud kids screaming or laughing at the flick… 2018 Halloween was a terrible experience…If I could have a natural theater reaction like screaming at jump scares and not just immature kids thats one thing…but it is terrible now…Rather watch on my big screen as many times as i want rather then 15 bucks for one viewing…I dont blame people for wanting theater it can be awesome, Just dont see why people cant understand there are other opinions like not minding VOD.
