Hey guys I’m wondering what everybody’s plans are for the big day tomorrow? I was supposed to take my nephews out trick-or-treating but unfortunately they’re both sick. I’m debating seeing the new film again and going to a haunted house but really am not sure what to do! Would love to hear your plans and hopefully live vicariously through you or get some suggestions as to what to do myself!
Man, I made a whole graveyard scene, and had lights up everywhere, speaker for music, literally about 4 to 500 kids come by to trick or treat… and the damn rain has to spoil it!!! Was gonna do Michael Myers and scare the folks. Moved a bunch to the garage but we will see how many people come out
I’m hoping kids are out and about in my area, cause I am hoping to scare them as 78 Myers, but it may be raining, or there will be hardly any kids out at all tonight, but at least celebrating it with my gf will be enough, plus scaring kids in town will be enough
Two things that are planned for me and fam. first is an event in Old town here in Albuquerque from 4-6 where store fronts hand out candy to kids and a great place to hang out and show off costumes. The other goes from 6-9 at local park sponsored by local church. They call a Harvest Festival… go figure. It includes carnival games, treats, and occasional tent that gives out Gideon bibles. That’s like Charlie Brown getting a rock… Oh well. Surprisingly they don’t have any hang ups about extreme costume like my zombie get up that I’m doing this year and my Daughters Droog costume from Clockwork Orange. Most of the good events were over the weekend. Make sure everyone shoots pics and posts them on Thursday if you can. Happy Halloween everyone!!
Well, the city I live in changed the Trick or Treating to today because of supposed bad weather tomorrow. This sucks because I have band practice tonight & will not cancel it (gotta treat it like a job if you want it to pay you like one.) I’m sure bummed that I won’t get to terrify a few people on my favorite holiday, but as the few people on here know about me - music will always come first.
Hopefully the weather won’t be too bad tomorrow & I can at least freak a few passersby out (not a lot of screen accurate masks around here, despite me being in the city that Justin originates from.) If it is bad - I’ll just enjoy some time with my wife & watch some good ole scary movies.
That sounds like tons of fun man!! I wish we had something like that around here. Nothing feels better than just walking around in costume with like-minded people! Can’t wait to see your costume and having your daughter dressed up from Clockwork Orange is unique and a brilliant idea! Looking forward to see photos man.
I hear you on the music man; dedication is everything. I’m hoping it doesn’t rain and you are able to have a badass time tomorrow as well! Unfortunately me and my fiancée split last year but even watching horror movies alone on the big day feels special. I hope you and the misses have an amazing day brother
No big plans for me this year, but I’d still like to dress up as Myers regardless. I plan on mainly just staying home watching AMC’s marathon of the Halloween movies, could have a couple trick or treaters to hand candy out to, but I don’t typically get any.
Normally I would go hang out with my buddies, and crash a party or go to a parade somewhere on L.A. . But this year with Halloween landing on a Wednesday , I think I’m just going to stay home, pass out candy, then finish off the night with some Halloween 1978 on 4K.
My wife and I are taking the littlest to the mall because my daughter is scared shitless of everything and doesn’t want to walk around the neighborhood again after last year. Kind of sad because I always liked walking around my dads neighborhood. Alot of people participate and set stuff up and have small little walkthroughs of their garage and such. Plus (I guess Im getting old) some people have coolers of drinks they give out to the adults walking their kids around. Great southern hospitality. I get sick of walking and need a drink instead of more candy lol Its cool to see some parts of the neighborhoods still celebrate it. You go to some areas and its dead as F out. So this mall thing will be a first for me. I cant remember the last time Ive even been to the mall lol I wont be putting on the costume this year because I dont have one that fits. Wish I did because all Ill be seeing is slutty dressed teeny bopers and dudes that just spray their hair green or some dumbshit like that. Ive always wanted to be something scary. Since I was a kid. Thats the whole point of Halloween isnt it?; Dress up scary, ring the doorbell, scare the shit out of them, get candy, repeat. But when you think about it, under 18 year old girls with their ass hanging out is pretty scary. No way in hell are my daughters doing that. Sorry, rambling. So thats what Im doing. Going to the mall. Yay. I wonder if the mall candy store will be giving out candy, or Ill still have to buy it…we’ll see. Hope everyone else’s plans are exciting as mine lol HAPPY HALLOWEEN !!!
