They do have a split and snaps but neither are seen The seam overlaps when you snap them shut making them
look seamless, the snaps are there but they are sewn inside the cuff underneath the top layer of fabric.
So when you have the cuffs closed an snapped, you dont see any seam/snap or button closure
Idk, in the screenshots I posted I see the front pockets clearly chiseled but I could be wrong. I do however think that so far these are a better match than the dickies or anything from before
Especially given that the film was shot in Canada, we know that it’s sourced Canadian clothing, the boots I had a hunt for numbers, and there are multiple Sole types, but englundisgod found the match, and they are a vintage Canadian Cadet type boot
Yeah I saw that update! They match amazing . I’m going to hunt for other Canadian brands of coveralls and maybe see if we can find out what happened to the originals
Still searching on those coveralls! Can’t find any with chiseled corners, hammer loop, or without a pen slot on the left pocket, though. Thought I should update with this though, clearer screenshot matching the Greb boots
Totally! I’m sniffing down that path now. It looks like Dakota workwear are based out of South Dakota unless I have the wrong company [/quote]
Yes that is the wrong company, I should have mentioned there is the Canadian brand DAKOTA and theres an american
company called Dakota Workwear totally different
The coveralls are from a Canadian original store called “Mark’s work wearhouse” They make their own line of
clothing under the name Dakota, they also sold their stuff at Canadian tire after that store bought into marks.
So if you want to find the coveralls youll need marks work wearhouse catalog/flyers https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark's
Its also worth noting that its was the year 2002 when Marks started selling Dakota workwear at Canadian tire (a much bigger chain)
