Halloween Resurrection Coveralls and Boots match

Yes that is the wrong company, I should have mentioned there is the Canadian brand DAKOTA and theres an american
company called Dakota Workwear totally different

The coveralls are from a Canadian original store called “Mark’s work wearhouse” They make their own line of
clothing under the name Dakota, they also sold their stuff at Canadian tire after that store bought into marks.

So if you want to find the coveralls youll need marks work wearhouse catalog/flyers
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark's
Its also worth noting that its was the year 2002 when Marks started selling Dakota workwear at Canadian tire (a much bigger chain)

So do you think we have reached the conclusion Dakota is the brand?

I’m not 100% convinced given the several factors Dakotas have that the screen used do not, but they’re such minor differences that it could have been a year where the design was switched up. They are so far definitely the closest thing.

yeah, the model itself is just what needs to be narrowed down

Im so glad were finding more out about the movie, we might be the only three who like it enough to dissect it
The Greb boots were a fluke, I got them at Value Village for $16 saw the screencaps and thought they looked familiar.
I exchanged my navy dakota coveralls for grey today, (plain H6 grey not the charcoal or “Pastel grey” they call it)

Ranshiie is right Dakota pockets can pull off both chiseled and a rounded look, I’ll try to explain or I can take pics later.

They are supposed to be round, but the folded pocket hem is kind of sloppy/fast?
The stitching is round but the pocket fabric is not tucked neatly and round like a bigmac h4 pocket at the corners
Instead of a neatly tucked corner to match the round stitching, it looks more like a series of small folds instead of one smooth rounded line for the corner of the pocket

I know that they can pull off both, but the ones in the movie are just clearly chiseled. The only times I see them looking rounded are from a distance or a lower quality photo.

that isn’t the beessst shot but there are more that I’ll post that clearly show a chiseled pocket. I think they’re probably an older model of the Dakotas with chiseled pockets.

That is definitely some sloppy seam work, and they do have the folds in the corners, in this one it’s more rounded

I hope these are the coveralls that were used in H8, but I think the collar looks to small

When I get home I’ll take of a pic of the collar, it doesnt look that big until its flipped up it looka real big

I assume that you never got home

Sorry about bit of a mental funeral  For sure this time Im off at 7am Ill post a collar pic
The reason I didnt post it was they were H6 grey, and I wanted to wait until after I dyed them charcaol.
Ill take a pic after 7am, but I havent fixed the collar snaps or added the subtle blues yet.
The collar is taller than a redkap I have a grey pair at home I can measure the collar height vs Dakota

  • Aaron

that would be great, plus seeing them side by side

From the seam where the collar begins Dakotas are roughly 1/2" taller, Here are grey Redkaps next to Dakotas
(light grey dyed charcoal)
I wore both in the same style as Brad Loree, with both snaps unbuttoned and the collar popped

here are my dyed Dakota coveralls, collar is way bigger and roomier
more width and even the two triangles where the lower collar snap is attached
the collar is much wider, they cover more of your neck and chin when your looking at them from the side view

Even the collar shape is a big difference, we can pretty much confirm that they are Dakota’s 100%, just from how they fall into place naturally

We gotta find the right model [emoji24][emoji24][emoji24]

Englundisgod’s pair has probably got to be the closest so far

Oh 10000%. I mean the exact model of Dakotas specifically! Maybe this could be the second entry in the “shapewear” line

You should definitely offer them for sale, after the Tradewears!

I never stopped looking for a coverall match, I finally got it. The H8 coveralls are Canadian Linen coveralls
The color is charcoal and far more accurate than the Dakotas I own.
So Canadian Linen Twill action back charcoal coveralls

The collar is bigger it has the right snaps, the back elastic doesnt look as scrunchy, but that comes with
washing them the cotton shrinks etc
Ive included a link to their webstore, I ordered a charcoal grey pair, and Spruce green I’ll take pics when they get here
Here are the pics, on the site the guy is wearing the correct ones.
The other pic is an old stock image of an older model you can tell which is the right one by two visibible collar snaps.

The first pic below really shows how big the collar is even folded down

H8 cov 2.jpg
H8 cov 3.jpg

They probably added in that elastic, cause of how wide that waist is, though one thing I find interesting is the back pockets being different from the chest ones, unless they’re all different models
