Having a little fun, didn’t mean to get your panties in a wad. But before you get all bent out of shape, read what you are commenting on. Never suggested he was Christopher Nelson. Nelson’s team is responsible for the new mask, but I’ve never seen anywhere where he has claimed that he personally sculpted the new mask, just that there is a new mask. Just saying it would be cool if the flashback mask had this much effort put into it, which is a compliment to the Somnambulist and shows no disrespect whatsoever.
And I doubt the Somnambulist needs you to rush to his defense. He can certainly put an end to speculation by identifying himself at any time if he’s offended by folks kicking around a few CLEARLY SELF-IDENTIFIED crazy theories.
As to the absurdly insular comment, this entire hobby is exactly that: absurdly insular. It would shock most people on here to learn just how relatively few total collectors there are. But don’t worry, I don’t want to offend the fun police so I’ll be happy to leave this thread to the obnoxiously serious and fun adverse. You want to get pissed at someone, turn on the news, instead of turning on fellow fans.
Wow. I’ve always lurked on here every once in a while to look for “the” H1 mask. There’s been some great ones for sure, but your sculpt last year caught my eye immediately. It looked great on its own without even being a mask. Looking at your prototype now… I can say you’ve truly captured the Shape. It looks great from every angle. I love the way you painted and haired it. Those fucking lips… those devious lips that can make a break a mask… You did it. It looks like the Castle stretch and the H4 cover all in one. Simply fantastic. Even if you don’t make anymore, I’m happy somebody finally did it. Congrats.
I hope you do make some though. Given how crazy everything is right now, I’d like to be able to hold a holy grail mask just once in my life before the shit hits the fan.
I thought about that last year too. Also thought about what would happen if it turned out to be Terry Lambert. This place would have melted down hahahaha
