There is just too much exposure to morons at that place.

Let me give you an example:

I posted an auction for my 4 Stamp NMM 78 at a Buy Now of $800 or Best Offer. Now I don’t have to tell you how rare this mask is and I was hoping that a few educated buyers on EBAY might know what it is as well and I’d get a few reasonable offers. Well, I’ve had two offers so far for $100. $100 on an $800 Buy Now!!! What is the mindset of an individual that makes an offer like that. Do they sit back and say “hm, the Seller is asking $800, what do I think they’ll take, hmmmmm, I know, $100” Not to mention the three PM’s I got from morons asking me how I can charge $800 for a Myers mask when you can get one for $50 at Halloween Headquarters.

Wow, I hear ya on that one. It is filled with complete morons. No one understands anything about myers’ masks. If they can get some mass produced junk at at a local halloween store, then why would they pm you about it. Do they actually think you are gonna lower the price on your mask. I just sold my thorned le on ebay, and i got some crazy offers as well. Very simliar to yours. I know mine’s not worth as much as your mm78, but still. someone offered me $50? WTF!? I mean come on. And another $72. What the hell is with that number. But within the hour it went for $190. Everytime I put a myers’ mask for sale, some stupid idiot will send a ridiculous message about how I can sell something that high, or it won’t sell, and they can just get a mask just as good as that over at Spirit. Whatever.

I hear you man–last year I posted my UL75 that was signed and worn by Tony Moran on eBay–and some jerkoff emaisl me and BLASTS me because apparently “I dont know shit about the film–Nick Castle played Michael Myers!” and the guy had no idea who Tony Moran was…I shot a quick email back and exposed him…he sent a reply that was like “Yeah…well…Tony Moran sucks!”. I just lmao at his comeback. :laughing:

I get lowball offers all day long on masks that I sell. Do I care?.. not a bit. I reply no thanks and move on. Don’t let it get to ya man.

If there is any reason to be done w/ the bay it’s b/c they change their fees and rules so often you basically sell your soul to them.

I tend to stay away, unless I know a lot of people are interested in a particular item and I want to get maximum value.

Happens to me on halloween all the time. was walking around in the mall last year in my cgp GPW 4 mask and had a guy come up and offer 25 on the spot. then i told him it cost 300…he walked away :laughing:
