And I thought that last pic was nice. Wow, Mike that is an absolutely fantastic shot of that mask. I’d yell hero if I didnt know any better.

Terrific thread and terrific mask.Threads like this should be stuck to the top of the general section. They’re very informative and would make it easier for newbies to find. Just a thought.

You’re welcome, Mike! It has been an absolute pleasure crafting this thread! I swapped out the original picture that I had posted of your mask with your personal favorite. :sunglasses:

You’re welcome, Jim, and I agree! Was just telling Hugo that someone with more NMM78 knowledge that I should start a NightOwl NMM78 thread similar to this one. :bulb:

I’m glad that the thread has been helpful, bro, and I think that’s a great suggestion! Informing new members is at the very core of what I hoped to accomplish in crafting this thread.

New shot of number 4. :drinkers:

We need more threads like this to get a sticky post. You’ve done an excellent job putting all this info together. Hats off to you
The best part of this mask I think is how rich its background is with Halloween 2. It’s great!

Looks like you got your wish, mate! Thanks for the sticky, Mike!

Alright, back to business. In the relatively short amount of time that this thread has been live, I am quite impressed with what we have been able to accomplish. I know that there are individuals out there who can help fill the voids that remain. The information currently presented is as accurate and well-rounded as I can make it at this time, but there is always the potential to be better. I encourage members to share this thread with other Myers enthusiasts in the name of adding more pieces to this most intriguing KH/DW puzzle.

These are photos of masks that, after some brief photo analysis, I do not believe that we have accounted for. Do these photos ring any bells for anyone? What would appear to be four additional copies just begging to be enumerated!

I know that this copy belongs to Roger and that it has been significantly altered from its original condition, but I’m clueless as to its number.

Terrific news on the sticky! Good luck finding out that missing info  This is all so intriguing.

Frankie, if memory serves me correct, I believe KennyD told me some time ago that that second shot you just posted is Darren’s copy #12. Roger also told me ages ago that the # on his copy got erased and he didn’t remember it.

Errr, I hope you’re wrong.

Mike sure did a great job on your mask. It took some cojones to repaint such a high end mask, something I know he was probably uncomfortable with, but he absolutely did the mask justice in the end. By the way, I found a neat KH/DW thread from '05 and I immediately recognized one of the pictured copies as being your #15, pre-repaint!

Speaking of cool threads, I have added a ā€œthread(s)/link(s)ā€ section for each mask. I’ll update that periodically as I locate relevant threads.

Turning out to be quite the thread and I can’t thank you all enough for your contributions!

You’re welcome Frankie! And thanks!!! Yep Mike did some justice to it. I’m glad he didn’t touch the eyes though…and that he didn’t rehair it, just darkened the hair a bit. Wow talk about a blast from the past. I remember that thread and yes it’s my #15 before Mike owned it. I have tons of pics of the mask prior to Mike’s repaint. Check 'em out:

Here’s Mike AHG wearing it:

Wow, that thing was gorgeous even before the repaint!

All these masks look so awsome.

What a great thread!! The number on my copy has long since worn off. I believe it is in the teens. I have been putting a lot of recent work into the mask and will post a thread of new pics in the very near future. I’ll add a picture here.

Awesome

Here’s a few more old shots I dug up of the #5 when I owned it. This is one hell of a thread guys!

JC: Your photos of the #5 copy are excellent! I added one of them to the initial post, replacing a photo that I had formerly posted.

Hugo: Your mask looks just as amazing in original condition (in its own unique way) as it does presently! Some of those photos are new to me. It’s cool that you saved them all, despite the mask being repainted

I’m thinking that I’ll leave two, maybe three solid photos of each copy in the initial post. Members can post additional photos and share comments and stories/memories throughout the thread as they see fit.

Speaking of which, this is a little comparison that I threw together a couple of years ago. Jon L. wearing the #2 KH/DW in the middle, screen used mask on the left and right. The KH/DW shot could easily be mistaken for an H2 set pic.

Thanks Frankie. That’s a great idea about 3 pics of ea. Copy. Love that comparison pic. After seeing that nothing else needs to be said. :sunglasses:

I also touched up a screen grab from one of the Monster-Mania 11 videos.
Unreal H2 likeness.
