I’m gonna have to think this over man, I hate sellers remorse! She reminds me of a piano for some strange reason though! :open_mouth: How’s the rest of her look! :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp:

So, let me get this straight:

It’s perfectly all right to purposely distort market standards even further - and at such a vast rate - that one day, this “Myers mask hobby” will only be able to function on a level similar to Colbert Report’s “Platinum Edition” skit?

Why is Greed now accepted with open arms around here? Sure, some masks are highly desirable and demand a higher price due to popularity for one reason or another. That’s a given. But just because a run of masks were released doesn’t mean that they’re instantly worth 3 times retail value the second they’re within the buyers’ hands, does it? Would anyone here agree that such a technique (essentially “scalping”) is highly deplorable and destructive to your whole community in the long run?

This is probably the point where someone replies, “It isn’t bad as long as I keep getting such good returns on my investments!”…or…"You’re just jealous that you can’t afford one of them! :finga: :drinkers: :drinkers: :drinkers: "

Cheers,

Ryan

People will buy and sell masks for whatever price they want.
Seriously, why do you knock everybody?

As Adam Sandler would say… “lady your scaring us”

Colin, truth be told, ZERO masks were made available to the public. They were made available to a private group of people. Not saying it’s wrong, just wanted to clarify. It’s not as if we all had a shot at these.

So let me get this straight, because I would hate to offend anyone!

Greed is okay, but jealousy is strictly forbidden?

You have a choice: give the seller 5 times what they paid for the mask and fulfill their greed, or don’t and be jealous of their connections that you will likely never have.

I’m not innocent either; I flipped one of the original A.H.G. masks for 5 times what I paid, and boy was I flamed for it. On the same token I’m now jealous of Dano and his friends for getting in on the SLE.

But to say that either is right IS wrong!

Every facet of life…connections.

WOW, I was really just interested in seeing pics of the ones that are out there, and maybe finding out if any may be for sale anytime soon. Is there a way to contact Ken Hertlein? How long ago did he stop making this mask?

Marshall

Very nice James. That would look good in my (very small) collection!!!

For fear of you being flamed I will answer your question quickly! Ken is a private guy and only a few people here know him. He reluctantly took on the Special Limited Edition project for the benefit of his friends. To my understanding, the original run of KH/DWs was a debacle, and Ken has no desire to provide anymore Myers masks.
