Ah thats just the stripped version its darker cuz of the wax/acrylic i had on it . It needs to be completely repainted. Having all those details darkened helps the dry brushing big time , base layer showing through the white is one of the most important things with the look of the H6. That outline of the cheek with acrylic needs to be wiped away , its just to bring the definition of it (the cheek ) out. Also , this H6 came with a lip defect you can see it if you zoom in, but i fixed it with latex. Will def post as I go along, cheers
this is the fourth, and hopefully final, repaint of this mask. Just need to take my time and stay focused, the highlights on that cheek are very important and tricky to get, just like the 78.
And some more. So close, yet so far. Thats alright, i can learn from my mistakes.
Wrong colours for kills and ends and needs to be subdued more as well, and the left cheek of curse is wrong (your left) as well as forehead weathering by like an inch in the middle. Ill naill it this time .
Excellent, thanks for posting. Well you know what they say about practiceâŚ
I do . Super frustrating thoughâŚ
I can safely strip these masks pretty quickly now though lol but this time has to be it .
Youâre welcome.
Some more old photos attempts. The wood is for the clothes line I need to complete btw (78 cross style, gunna make it looked aged and all the hooks will be rusty) The blood fx on the knife just would not dry properly and kept flaking off. That photo of the halligen bar is the first attempt and also right before it fell and the head broke off. Bro fixed and screwed it together shortly thereafter. And the l first layer of the ends mask was right where i needed it to be.

Awesome love seeing the process of this stuff. H6 is seriously underrated.
Was hoping youd dig it. Lots to do. Cue Halloween music. ![]()
And ya H6 is seriously underrated . ![]()
So i tried doing a gloss medium mixture for blood that i saw in a youtube video, didnt go so well , turned the blood blue. Hence i got fed up and finally ordered the permablood âŚim liking it alot so far. Second photo, first layer.
I cant seem to get this one part of the axe to darken up , should i just roll with it? I could just weather itâŚ
Second layer of blood done and wow, it looks great!
Looks great! Go with itâlove the bucket of chum! ![]()
3D printing these or what? It doesnât really matterâthey look awesome! Just a heads up, they might still accidentally hurt someone since theyâre made of wood, so be careful with them, dude! You should totally think about selling these on Etsy and eBayâpeople are into con-safe weapon props! & guaranteed, they will sell like hotcakes!
No no 3d printer just rehauling them . Wouldnt hurt anyone no worries there.cant promise not to scare people howeverâŚJust like making realistic stuff (Tom Savini is my biggest inspiration) this is all for my own personal collection .Also like coming up with the what ifs and continuity of it all , like what would the axe look like after Myers uses it in 6, or the Halligen bar in Kills. Love the look of Myers in 78/Curse/Kills/Ends so much that I wanted to do my own Halloween rehauls. Think I may be turning into Loomis with my obsession of Myers, lol . Thanks for the positive feedback. Would love to make money doing this just at a loss how to go about . Plus i havent completed anything yet .
also you arent the first person to say i could sell things, but it feels prettt good. I keep second guessing my life choices at this point lol feel like a big weirdo.
Not sure if wood props would be considered con safe?
