Coming together nice got clear coat on the knives and axe now. And thats how dark and glossy the permablood dries.

Got the oil paint going for some base charring and griminess… Got every wound on them except for a bullet hit on the right abdomen that im not quite sure of yet . Pretty sure he gets shot three times in the mob scene its hard to tell. Ive got the two stab wounds from allyson , the stab from karen in the shoulder , the pitchfork . Exit wounds from bullets . Details details.

Onto weathering for the knives they came out great. Must succeed this time. Got some RZ knives as well , i feel like the shorter one would actually go pretty good with H6 costume only because i feel they short changed him on the knife in H6. They make up for it later with the machete /surgical blade but still…

Found the perfect video of the H6 mask , stumbled on it and wow. Best look at the hero masks in their prime. Like right out of the gate too you see him walking around in natural lighting ! Really good look at the unique hairline too. Such a good fucking mask .kept everything that made 78 so good and just made it creepier. No brown eyebrows!!!
Ill never understand the choice for brown eyebrows in 4 5 h20 and resurrection. I personally want to make rehauls of 4 5 and h20 how they should have been done , I think they would look alot creepier. Maybe one day.
What say you fellow loomers? It would be a cool what if kind of experiment . IMO. I know im getting ahead of myself here but ive honestly thought about it quite a bit. But i digress.

Most of the masks I paint, especially the ones of Michael Myers, predominantly feature whites. I intentionally avoid eyebrows because I believe that their absence amplifies the scare factor.

So ive started rusting the Ends knife gunna go out today and get some more spray paint (this is just acrylic for rust, the nozzle on my red oxide spray paint broke , it will be more brown than red oxide but i feel the redoxide is a good base) Kinda want a second opinion , should i do the rust fx then spray over with metallic paint and sand it down again ? Doing some splatter fx on the bucket too.

Eyeballs look awesome! Those blue solo cups in the shot with the bucket of eyeballs would totally pop if you took a photo of them together with some neon green poster board. Just write “Monster Beer Pong” on it with a black Sharpie, and it’ll be epic!

Totally! Mixing up how you put on the paint and adding some splatters makes everything look way cooler and more real. Otherwise, it just ends up flat and boring!

Thanks man! Could use a second opinion , i think it needs more brown on rust, more black on blade parts ? Gunna do the white mold effect too.

No problem at all, happy to help! If you’re up for my take, I think adding a bit of matte dark mint green mixed with satin polar white would look awesome. Just swirl it around however you like! It’ll give off that vibe of weathered wind chimes with a natural patina. Can’t wait to see how it all comes together!

Ive decided to go the all rust route as it has great texture and i have a pretty good rust pattern going on. Ill add black and grey on top along with white.
