LD's Halloween 🎃 WIP

Just mix a little bit of Dawn dish soap, water, salt, baking soda, and rubbing alcohol until it turns into a paste. Grab an old toothbrush and scrub your mask hairline with it. Then, pour some white vinegar over the paste to kickstart the baking soda – that should help loosen up the glue. :hocho::jack_o_lantern:

I like the blood idea you got going on there. You should do another layer over the line splatters. Have to give the blood some movement and then have it drip down a bit , know what I mean? Looking grundgy af though. And i know what your saying about photos hard to see the layers.

The pic is meant to show the ax’s shadow, and it kinda does what you’re mentioning, it’s tough to really see it and get everything in the shot.

Hell you could get some fake barb wire and make the axe version of lucille lol that handle says tetanus shot all day btw.

I have friends who work with sharp axes as part of their job, and I’ve seen some really dirty ones up close. You’d be surprised at how different they look from the shiny, cinematic versions we often imagine. Sure, some resemble those polished props, the reality is far GRITTIER—just thought I’d share that perspective!

For sure. Its gunna be good. Go alot faster if I could get the remaining crap off the scalp. Gunna try acetone. It’s not so bad on this mask so I could probably just paint over it. I do want to seal that top part too to prevent rot . My kills and 78 mask have some really strong glue on the hairline. It’s def becoming a headache. It sucks cuz the hairline is off so much that it’s covering details on the mask (kills) otherwise I would have been able to just go over top of it with hair.
