My attempt at 3D modelling the castle stretch

Hello, this is my first post, but I wanted to share my attempt at modelling the castle stretch (ignore the back of the head I still gotta fix that lol).

Still a work in progress, but let me know what you guys think/ if I’m missing any details. Helpful criticism is always welcome

Nice job! looks really high quality, possibly better than DBD!

Latest update! I made some tweaks to the mouth area and the nose, but the chin/jawline still feels off.

That’ll probably be my next fix once I figure out exactly why it feels off

Okay so I decided to start over, I scanned my tots 78 mask and threw in other references of the James mangrum sculpt to give me a better base line. I’m referring heavily to his sculpt as well as the hallway and phone scenes and I think this version looks a lot better so far.

I’ve also been watching some videos on likeness sculpting to try to get a few tips!

Here’s the new WIP:

Ya keep posting dude! Havent sculpted /3d modeled myself, but i can see its a tedious, detailed process. If you want any feedback I’ll help you out.

Feedback is always welcome! Only helps me improve

updated!

Sculpted the eyes in before cutting so it kinda keeps the natural folds when I cut them out later. Also fixed the silhouette and pulled out the ears.

I think next step is to add in finer details like wrinkles around the eyes and in the forehead, as well as the hairline and glue lines.

This is very cool! I believe you’re moving in the right direction.

Adding in the eye cuts helped a lot.

Also I’m not sure about the seam lines on the sides of the mask, let me know if anyone has any good references for them or if they are even on the 78 hero mask at all.

Okay, I think I’ve gotten to a point where it’s just finishing touches now. I’m going to get together some resin printing tools and attempt to get this version painted to see how it looks.

I think a good paint job will help, but I’ll definitely revisit after I get the first few prints painted up! It’ll probably take a few months considering I’ve never resin printed OR painted but I can’t wait to learn with this project!

Here’s the latest version, next to the hallway scene which I used a lot for reference. I also used a lot of photos of James Mangrum’s beautiful ID mask as reference (I hope he’s doing well).

Mask left eye needs to be slightly bigger and the tail end of that left eyebrow curves down a bit more . Looking great though!

Awesome, I appreciate the feedback! I’ll probably do this before I try the first print

Actually I noticed 2 more small things. Lip needs to come down a bit, and that cheek outline comes in tighter , tried to draw but you get the idea.
