My attempt at 3D modelling the castle stretch

Yeah I was noticing that too, it looked a bit off. I’ll look to incorporate those tweaks in the next couple of days here!

Thanks again, it really helps

I made a few tweaks, but I can’t tell if it looked better before or better now… lmk what you think!

I definitely like the eye fix, I tried tweaking the mouth and nose a bit but I’m not sure if I messed it up or made it better. Will continue working a bit more closely throughout the week.

Ya I think the nose may be off, I’ll do another comparison to help . The lips just need to come together more the gap is to big on the left side of mask , a. K. A your right when looking at mask .

Ok got some more pointers .. could you send a view like this pic ? Where the mask is tilted back slightly ? This is better for the eyes.

The mask left eye needs to come over a bit , and the bottom curve dips a bit more .

Vvv

This isn’t there on hero vvv

This cheek shadow is a bit off on the v curve and there’s a faint curve underneath it

Vvv

This eye is slightly bigger as well

The mask left ear needs to come up slightly , and the left nostril needs to come in more.

ear i was talking about

This cheek line comes up a bit higher.

Nostril comes in a bit more. :jack_o_lantern::kitchen_knife:

And this protruding part of the inner ear needs to come in and outer ear angle comes in sharper from the middle of the ear to the lobe.

Here’s other shots to lay your sculpt over, that hallway screencap is horrible quality

Isn’t that last one a stunt mask ? The left eye cut was different on the stunt.

Nice pics, where is that first one from?

This is amazingly in depth, I appreciate the help! I’ll look into the adjustments in a couple days here, since I’ll be a bit busy until then, but this is going to take it to the next level for sure!

Hell yeah dude! :smiling_face_with_sunglasses: :jack_o_lantern: :kitchen_knife: lots of small tweaks , you got a solid base to work with, time to get it into tip top Shape…

All of them are the hero shots with Castle

Here’s a couple tweaks to the lip area, nose and eye cuts. Still need to incorporate the changes recommended by you guys, but so far this is how it’s looking now. I referred more to photos I found of the id mask shown below since it’s higher res and looks the most accurate in my eyes.

A couple references I used:

Still not exact but I think it’s making progress?

Yup its coming along nicely.

I think you need to incorporate a little bit of the nose bend and the mouth curl.

Yup I totally agree, trying to figure out/learn a good technique to do so.

I’ve found that anatomy sculpting tutorials have kind of helped.

Great work brother!

I specialize in animation and rigging if you ever wish to see your mesh converted into something poseable.:+1:

Hey that sounds super cool!

My main goal with this is to eventually 3D print it and make a 1/6 scale custom figure, but I’ll let you know for sure if I ever wanna try to rig it!

Sounds like another cool option for the project, really appreciate that the help is there

No worries. I primarily work in games so thought you might like to see it brought to life. Rigging can also help to achieve a really nice pose ahead of 3D printing. Happy to help a fellow artist anytime, especially Myers related.
