I know that the elrod is a psycho, the hospital is a maniac, the h2 is a lunatic, the 2018 is a movie mold and from what I know the Kirk is a bloated shat, but what are the origins of the h6, h20, and h8 masks and do these come from movie molds?
The H20 is from Morning side movie mold which I believe they shut him down. The H6 is from a recasted movie mold NO 6. The H8 I believe is a cinema secrets mold. The H3s are from the Don Post 2012 reissue molds when they liquidated, not sculpted. The H2 is the lunatic, The hospital mask is the maniac, the Elrod is the psycho, the Kirk Is the shat/creep which is a casting off Billy Kirkus old DPS 75 kirk NOT sculpted from the lifecast…along with the nmm78, psycho, thrasher, killer, deathmask & stalker are off of that as well. The 75 Spock is from the original Don Post mold which was sold to tots by a private collector last year at Maskfest.
Are the Shat and the Psycho really from the same source DPS Kirk? They’re so different to the point I thought at least one was a complete ground-up sculpt or a lifecast descendent.
Yes they technically derive from a casting of 75 kirk, not from the Shatner life cast. The creep/shat, psycho,nmm78, thrasher, killer, stalker & the tots versions are all castings off Billy Kirkus 75 kirk, that have had retooling done to them. People are naive if they believe that these masks are from the Life cast. There is absolutely nothing wrong with their origins or how they came to light it’s just the “story” we’ve been told is incorrect, never respectfully understood that. The mask would look substantially different in form. It would look more like the 2k, classic 75/78, Dead Ringer, and other ground up sculpts that come from the life cast.

They certainly don’t use any of the original plaster molds, but make production molds out of master copies. This is mass production. They have multiple molds in studio.
I wouldn’t. Chris has zero ethics left. This hobby used to be full of independent artists, but looks like each one’s going to the chopping block as soon as Chris gets done with them. What’s sad is nobody with any real voice in this hobby has any interest or balls to stand up to the guy.
I know but Sean would have given TOTS everything they requested. Now that I think of it I noticed but Sean didn’t sell a KNB H2O mold. I thinks that because TOTS has it and used it for there H20 mask. They definitely aren’t sculpted by Justin as they state, lol. I do think the H2O V2 is morningside H2O mask
Hey jimmy the killer looks a lot like the Kirk life cast it always has to me, do u know for sure that he didn’t use the life cast? Just wondering brother

Halloween 1978: original sculpt
Halloween 4: Not sure. Originally it was going to be casted from Paul’s screenused mask, but then, for some reason, I don’t believe it happened, and the origin has become something of contention. I know every time I’ve asked I’ve been told that “it’s not important” and to “let it go.” So who knows.
Halloween 5: Possibly original sculpt? I’m not sure.
H5 Brute: recast from the original Rudel mask with Rudel’s permission.
I remember reading somewhere that they did try casting Paul’s mask, but it came out too small, so they just used the shat sculpt and altered it, I could be wrong
