He’s sent me photos of it and I don’t think it a 98 retool, I think it’s a 2k retool.

I asked Nag about it, apparently this is NOT the limited collectors edition. Whatever that means
There are two versions. A standard edition and a limited edition. The photos you see are of the standard edition version which he’ll produce long-term. The limited edition will be limited runs and we haven’t yet seen those photos.
That’s really aggravating cause like why, I mean we all know the answer already but why make two different versions. When I spend a lot of money on a Myers mask it’s gotta be as accurate as possible unless I’m buying it cause I like the look of the sculpt, should be plain and simple like that. Curious to know what the differences are going to be sculpt wise.
It is a bit frustrating to see the ongoing subtle jabs at Nag/Nik. It feels like we have heard this before. We understand that you might not like him or agree with his actions, but you have already made your feelings quite clear.
You asked a question, and I have answered it. He is creating a special edition of the same sculpture, which I believe is just a different finish or more vintage hair. This is not uncommon for independent artists. This is actually perfectly normal in this community and we’ve seen this happen with many popular masks from other artists.
This is becoming quite old, and I am finding it quite tiring. Could we perhaps have a thread to discuss this specific mask without delving into opinions on how Nik manages his business and how that affects you? If you feel that way, you can always speak with Nik directly. Constantly discussing it on this site does not seem to add any real value.

If I had to guess the deluxe will be the same sculpt with different hair and a more detailed paint job possibly foamed with the eye inserts.
