Hi all, hope you’re all keeping well!
I am currently in the process of re-making my Ends coveralls. As I’m from the UK, it’s incredibly difficult and expensive to get some actual or replica workrites… so I thought I’d just make some of my own.
I managed to pick up a couple pairs of Red Kap charcoal grey coveralls for an absolute bargain of £9 each (or $12 USD) - one that my main pair, and another as a donor for extra fabric. So far, I’ve changed out the front pockets, making some larger ones with the pointed bottoms, using the rear pockets of the donor, and made the collar taller and single-pointed.
Is there anything else I’m missing?
Let me know what you think of the progress so far, and definitely if there’s any suggestions for improvement!

Hi everyone!
So I’ve continued working on the Red Kap coveralls conversion, and I thought I’d share my progress and see if anyone has any thoughts.
So far, I’ve gone through 2018 and most of Kills. I’ve done all the front-facing bullet holes and stab wounds (or at least as far as I know of), applying some paint to look like old blood. Also, the burnt shoulder has been done.
I have made a patch from liquid latex and material to cover the inside of the stab wound to look like poorly healed skin.
I would like to ask if any other places are burnt, other than the shoulder?
Other than that, what do you think?

Burns are correct . Trying to figure this out myself, but allyson stabs him 3 times on the right side (coveralls picture your left ) in the 2nd floor scene. The last 2 are definitely in the gut above the belt. May I see the reverse side of your coveralls? I’m still debating on if he does get shot 4 times in mob scene (you hear 4 shots but they show only 2 exit wounds.) It’s so hard to make out its the only real clear shot pun intended of it. It does appear they don’t keep the continuity of the stomach stab wounds on the coveralls though. Ps , those coveralls are looking great
.I I also feel like with all the Easter eggs and callbacks in the Blumhouse trilogy , myers getting shot a total of six times would be a clever H1/H2 call back . “I shot him six times!”
I know technically one grazed his face but it still counts , right?

Heres where i put allyson stab wounds give you an idea. Havent got the bullet hole (s) on that part yet as you can see. Heres a photo to help with some mold/ dirtiness.

Looks like stab wounds in this one. But allyson stabs him straight not on an angle so Im confused.

This is really intriguing… I think you’re absolutely right, that is one of the inconsistencies between the Kills and Ends coveralls. I’m not sure if you have read the “Making of Halloween“ book, but the best reference for Ends specifically was in this photo of Ryan Turek in the coveralls.
Here, it appears there are just two horizontal cuts, although I don’t think these are the Allyson stabs. As you mentioned, those would be vertical. What these could be are the bullets from the mob fight, where they would enter and exit at the same points, just grazing his stomach, but still causing some damage. That would make 4 in total.
Unfortunately, I haven’t yet got around to cutting any holes into the back of the coveralls just yet, but I’ll be starting on the definite damages in the coming days.

Lol well i did find a video of jjc with the pitchfork in his back messing around dont know if youve seen it , he turns and crew members pretend to get hit. I took photos of it its a great reference for the markings. Just have to find it . Pitchfork is 5 pronger fyi. I think you’re right about the grazing, now im questioning my whole approach here lol

Got it! Found the video on YouTube, and it gives a really good reference for placement. Thank you!
I was also found questioning myself with the Karen stab wound, and if that carries over to Ends. Luckily they kept the continuity for that one though
So what I’m totalling for the back is: 3x bullet wounds (shoulders), 1x knife wound (shoulder/neck) and 5x pitchfork spikes (mid-back)
P.S sorry bout the quality, YouTube seems to like pixel art xD

Yup you got it all and you’re welcome! Also would like to see anything else youve done always interested.

This is an awesome reference! perfect for getting the mould / dew looking accurate. I’ve just got to cut the pitchfork holes, make then look bloody and then I’ll be moving onto this stage :).

Here’s the (mostly) finished back. Attempted to make the blood look old, oxidised and a little mouldy. I think it looks decent overall

Also, do you think it would be best to have the same skin patch that’s on the arm and neck stab? Or would it be better to leave the undershirt showing just with some blood on. As I’m sure after four years, the undershirt would have moved and the holes would be misaligned

Damn thats looking great dude. Ya maybe just old blood but its dealers choice lol it would probably be misaligned . Either way will look good. Not a big wound so youd have to be pretty close up to discern any details.

Glad i could help, sucks its not a closer pic and gets a little pixelly when you zoom in on phone, but ya should help alot to complete the front. For the mold, you could maybe start with some talcum powder, then use a white oil colour paint as acrylic wont get into the fibers of the coveralls in a convincing way. Could also build some layers on parts with liquid latex but youd have to go over it with an oil paint to make it look matted. Just ideas i have, is all.
Keep me updated on your progress, love it. Also did you rehaul your own mask ?
When you’re ready i have ideas about doing the damaged hand with a painted latex glove.
Heres my progress on a rehauled knife as well. Theres only one good pic of the movie knife and its only one side so im really not concerned about accuracy just trying to make it look convincing. But I digress.

How did you cut out the bullet holes?

Sorry it took so long to get back to you! My emails seemed to have betrayed me and don’t want to tell me when o get a reply xD.
For the bullet holes, I measured the pitchfork holes 2 inches apart and put some sewing pins through from the inside out. Once they were all done, I pulled the pin up to gather some material and cut a small hole around it and then sanded to make it a little bigger and rougher around the edges :).

The knife looks awesome! I did do a rehaul a while back on a ToTS mask, but I am planning on doing another as this one was a practice (and I didn’t do the hair). I am trying to figure out how I can get some more of the hair though, as most places that sell it are in the US.
