Hey everyone, so the question that’s been on my mind the last while has been How big was the mask used in the '78 film? I can’t seem to find much on the size of it. Could anyone here possibly shed some light on it?

it was supposed to be very little, I’d say 23 at max
Kaizu has photos of the exact measurements but it was a smaller mask for sure which is why it looked so different on Castle and Warlock
Something to note: The type and thickness of latex would affect a mask’s ability stretch to fit bigger heads.
So for instance a TOTS mask sized to a real DPS75 Kirk probably won’t stretch to fit as well.
Going by the picture of DICK WARLOCK wearing the DW DELUXE mask , I would say the original was UNDER 24’‘. DW DELUXE is 24’’ and it looked a little roomy on him. I think we can safely pin the mask at 23.5’‘-23.75’’
