I think this video has been posted a couple of times but I’d like to see if anyone know the story behind this mask, it says its a stunt mask for H2. Its defiantly a 75 kirk, but where did it come from?

They had a few back-up masks made for H2 but weren’t used

It seems like they or maybe the production crew made it look like the hero with the weathering, and it seems like it has the same hairline as those early 80s versions like the one Billy Kirkus had.
Here’s more pics on the owners site.

That mask is not one of the stunt masks. The mask that Stan has was made from the 75/78 mold but made and snuck out of Don Post Studio by former employees. The attached links are what Stan’s masks looked like before he had major work done to the mask. Sean Clark knows the entire story of the said mask and it’s history.
The mask is from a correct mold but it was not used in anyway with Halloween II.
I asked Don Post about this last year in another thread and here was his answer.

Went down stairs and asked Rob Tharp how many Myers masks HE made for the movie. Rob recalls three Myers masks and two Ben Tramer (light blue with blond hair) masks produced.

So the COA is a fake??
Are saying this mask is the one in the gallery??
Stan’s mask looked identical to the ones in the gallery that I posted links to. Stan had major work done on that mask to make it into what you see now, the mask NEVER looked that way originally.
The gentleman who Stan purchased the mask from apparently is known for not exactly telling the truth. Hell, anyone can make a certificate about anything. Sean Clark knows a HELL Of a lot more than me about this. Maybe we can summon him up.
I’m not at all taking away what the mask is…it’s from the correct mold however the history is totally incorrect.
Thanks Billy this has made my day
Still a fantastic lookin mask Nevertheless!
This mask is just awesome.I would love to own that.
