Hey guys I’m in the market for a new mask. I’ve had a few recommended to me. I’m leaning towards handiboystudios, bit another was cemetary gate. I’ve heard things about Terry Lambert. I’m not asking how your experience was with him. What I am asking is if the story about him sending a copy back to a customer instead of the original is true. If it is idc what his customer service is like now. I cant support that.

Jay Allen sent him an original 1975 Kirk to be foam filled. This was the mask prior, what Jay sent Terry:

Terry destroyed the original by trying to recast it without Jay’s permission, then sent him the above copy trying to cover it up.

I will never recommend Mr. Lambert for a mask - I was here when that all went down and it was very terrible for those that were taken advantage of by him. He even claimed an illness and had his gf “Tina” speaking for him but it was all fake

Phew. Jay Allen was probably one of the most pissed off people on the planet for some time. How disrespectful. I wonder if he really thought he’d get away with it
If he has a current business selling masks, didn’t he basically get away with it?

Not only is he still making them he is thriving. It sucks because he was actually recommended to me by someone well respected on youtube along with NAG.

Idk, but he got taken to court for it. Jay got a nice payout (or so it was rumored) and he sold the recast on eBay, I believe. And to make it all better he owns another 75 now!
I honestly think if I were in Terry’s shoes, the devastation of losing the Kirk that I’d spent years searching for would outweigh the anger.
Unfortunately this was almost 10 years ago and people start to forget. Or maybe it’s that people don’t know or stopped caring? Who knows :/.

I remember this. I remember exchanging emails with him back then wishing him well and hoping the cancer went into remission.
So he used cancer as an excuse as to why he did that to the 75 Kirk?

Handiboy is good - made from Shatner lifecast so you will get accuracy. I don’t own one from him but based on feedback, Yes! Do ahead and order from Him. 
Also I applaude you for choosing not to do business with Terry. He’s not deserving of the business he receives for what he did to Jay and this hobby many years ago.
I assure you I will never purchase a mask directly from him. I honestly dont even know how I feel about a second hand mask by him if I came across one

So did Terry ever square away with Jay over this and do his best to makes things right? Or as right as they could be… holy f#ck! Was any legal action ever taken against Terry? I would have done everything in my power to destroy that man. And I would have succeeded.
