This is related to the topic going on right now in the 30th knife topic but didn’t fit in with the name of the thread.

Hey everyone, many had doubts including me but after getting confirmation yesterday that Cryptco is indeed CGP/Terry, I feel disgusted. Seems obvious now but the fact is I’m still owed hundreds in value by Cryptco. This is to show you how full of shit Terry and these guys are.

Here are the exact copied detailed accounts with CGP/Cryptco including the dates. I left out my side of the replies to make it shorter. Enjoy!

Terry received my masks in June 08 and after asking him if everything was in order. He replied…

I’m working on them. Redos take me a little longer to do now because I’m not starting out with a fresh/blank canvas so to speak.
I won’t let any one who works for me do redos, because well… they wouldn’t know what to do them.
They just know what to do with the masks that CGP makes.

I wanted to ask you, if I send those masks back insured, but mark them as gifts… will you get hit with fees/taxes?

That was the last I heard from Terry, so I told my story to Cryptco and they replied saying that my masks were nowhere to be found in their shop, that Terry had them and then the reply below…

After havind my doubts, I asked Cryptco for a refund and got this…

Patrick, Wish there was some way we could help, but we do not have your mask nor are we entitled in anyway to give you a refund. That was a CGP transaction…not ours. We bought this business and the contents within and your stuff simply is not here and Terry does not work here. Patrick, if we had we would send it, but we cant produce something we do not have.

Redos may take a little longer, yes… but to explain from my point of view.

Removing hair normally takes 15-20 minutes, sometimes longer depending on how it’s applied. A repaint however does not take any longer than painting a blank pull. That is unless the mask you sent him has crackling paint or something. Even then, it’s just an excuse that shouldn’t equal a long wait.

Bottom line, there isn’t much difference in painting a blank and repainting a mask.

Let’s just say it’s now a “federal” issue, and the fraud dept has all the proof they need. Crypt Co. is in for a rude awakening, and they might think they’re safe “legally” but that is far from the truth. And when they read this (…and we all know they do) they might even think it’ll be a while before the issue gets to the surface, be forewarned gentlemen, the issue is already in the processing stage. Crypt Co. is being actively investigated right now under the fraudulent business act for their DIRECT involvement with Terry and his shady business tactics and flat out theft of many people’s money.

Terry, under the banner of CGP is kind of safe, once you file bankruptcy, the feds can’t do much and it would be in litigation for years and years. But, since he simply changed the name, and sported new “front men” to handle the day-to-day e-mails and such, he’s not only putting himself in the forefront again, but he’s also getting Dusty and his friend involved as well.

It marvels me when poeple like Terry go out and get cheap legal advice, or worse yet, NO legal advice at all, and then try to open up shop again and think they’ll be safe and untouchable under a different banner LOL! God help these fucking clowns, they are in for the most rude awakening of their pathetic lives.

I hope they’re reading this right now and laughing at it, because it’ll only make me laugh harder when the hammer falls, and believe me, it’s raised high right now and is approaching a swift and steady drop.

and I can get the hair taken off, paint stripped, repainted, weathered, hair added in less then a day

hey guys, im so glad that you have made me aware of this, i am new around here and was in process of sorting out an order for a Warlock from CryptCo, now i reckon i will avoid like the plague and wait til one comes up in the Classifieds and buy from another user. These guys sound like a bunch of clowns!!!

It’s a shame really… Terry was trusted for so many years and was one of the best at putting out high quality masks at decent prices w/ a relatively quick turnaround. He’s done a complete 180 and no matter how hard he tries to regain his reputation, it will always be tarnished. Never bite the hands that feed.

[holy s@#t] are these guys are one and the same,i got an email from dusty about some questions i ask him about the warlock i was going to buy but now i dont know, i mean i want to get con out my money, theres a lot talk about terry being the guy behind crypt co all along,so i dont know has anybody ordered from crypt co recently and had no problems with there order.

There’s alot of talk about Terry being Crypt Co. but in all my experiences Crypt Co. has come through so I dont think you have anything too worry about. I haven’t ordered recently so maybe I shouldn’t be speaking but so far I only have positive things about them

We don’t need multiple threads about this guys, keep it all to one thread. Saves space and less clutter for the Mods to deal with.

That sucks, I was saving up for a warlock from Cryptco, and now reading all of this I don’t think it’s a good idea to buy from them. What are people’s recent exerience with buying from cryptco, (not people trying to recover losses from CGP) even if they are all in this together? If Terry is just a silent partner for cryptco then it sucks, but to be honest if I could get a warlock for the price listed on their website with no hassles I probably would.

You can’t ask for a better transaction. I have ordered multiple times from Dusty and email transfers have been very prompt and the quality of the masks have been very impressive. Couldn’t ask for a better, more pleasant transaction(s).

all i can say i got my warlock SE from cryptco it onley took 2 weeks i was really shock.and yes it is ashame how you get took for over the years i have lost money on things and i can kick my self for it its like a scratch off ticket one moment your feeling good the next ahh i lost thers a wast down the drain… i think the deal is when you onley have so many guys working on these mask"s you get far behind and cant catch up…i dont know but all in well

Doesn’t change the fact that they’re one and the same. Terry=Crypto Co. Crypto Co=Terry. Terry is a fuckinf scam artist, it’s been proven, he’s a thief. End of story.

SO THIS IS THE SCOOP ABOUT CRYPT CO. STUDIOS. :smiley: I’VE COMMUNICATED WITH JOE AND DUSTY OF CCS AND THEY SAID THEY HAVE AND OWN ALL THE MASTER MOLDS FROM TERRY AND CEMETERY GATES PRODUCTIONS, AND ALSO THAT THE Y ARE THE SAME MASKS JUST NAMED DIFFERENTLY FOR COPYWRIGHTS THATS ALL. I’VE SPOKEN WITH THEM SEVERAL TIMES INCLUDING TODAY AND YESTERDAY THROUGH EMAIL AND TALKED WITH THEM ABOUT GETTING MY MASK,ME ASKING SIMILAR QUESTIONS YOU GUYS HAVE BEEN POSTING AND WANTING ANSWERS. FROM MY OVERALL COMMUNICATIONS WHICH WAS VERY QUICK THEY BOTH SEEMED VERY PROFESSIONSAL AND RESPONSIVE, AND FROM WHAT I’VE SEEN AND HEARD ABOUT THEM THEY 'RE GOOD PEOPLE AND ARE A GOOD COMPANY.I WILL BE BUYING A “10/31” AKA FORMERLY KNOWN AS “FEAR” MASK FROM THEM NEXT MONTH I WILL KEEP EVERYONE POSTED HOW MY SCORE GOES DOWN.

Ok, then what it comes down to is that if some people believe that Terry is with Cryptco, they might not buy from the company simply because of how Terry handled business at the end and screwed some people. It becomes an issue of principal. I personally feel for all those who lost money to CPG, but to be honest I won’t let that prevent me from buying from cryptco as long as they are delivering what they promise. I guess I might feel different if I lost money to CPG and was convinced he is involved with cryptco though :wink:

Isn’t this all speculation at this point? I mean you shouldn’t go hanging people over rumors before they have become facts. Just saying…

good point cooper, until someone proves it beyond a shadow of a doubt it’s speculation. If Terry isn’t involved at all with Cryptco then they just bought the molds and started their own business, nothing sinister there. On top of that if Terry isn’t a part of them then the fact of the matter is that Cryptco has no responsibility towards people that Terry screwed. The masks are too good (and reasonably priced) for Cryptco to screw there chance to do some good business and build a good reputation. On the other hand if they start messing around they will go under and their rep will be squashed just like Terry’s and CGP IMHO
