Sort of finished… need to rough up thee NAVY BLUE coveralls… fuck. They are the only ones I can find right now that fit me perfect… but im worried about this navy blue… how to grunge them up??? tips about how to fix the coveralls?, help. My OCD is kicking in that they are navy blue… but everything about them i love.
This. Throw them in the wash and get a greyish dye to blend the coveralls. Sandpaper will help give them an aged look as well. Before it gets too cold out, also leave them outside hanging in the sun to fade them a bit.
Thanks guys, appreciate these tips! I did some search on the dye, apparently these are 65% polyester … which is know to be a tougher to die. Gonna try what you guys said! Much appreciated!
Hello everyone I’ve seen many fantastic coveralls on this thread…I recently purchased this one in particular…like with another person here my coveralls are 65% polester…do you guys think these coveralls can be dyed? They are REED coveralls post blue which is great in some lighting but in natural lighting almost looks light powder blue…I have Rit dye color denim which I’ve used on a previous 1/6 scale collectible and it dyed it like a grayish navy…I would love to hear your recommendations.
My only note would be (I didn’t read through all 430 posts, sorry) is that after speaking to my pal in camera department for the new 2018 Halloween the coveralls are Navy, not charcoal
One of the top factors for me has been that charcoal workrites can pull off navy blue and also Charcoal, whereas the Navy Blue can’t pull off a charcoal color (as the hero pairs do).
