The Definitive Guide to All Halloween 1-11 Masks, Boots, Coveralls, and Knives **PIC HEAVY**

No problem, man! This was a lot of work to put together, you should feel proud of it.

Updates have been applied to the H4,5 and 6 sections. Feel free to look it over! Still doing work on the H6 boots.

Updated the H6 thread. They are definitely Double H boots, no toestrap. Everything lines up stitching and structure wise. Here are a few comparisons (added to the section as well.

Help guys, i want to get rid of one pairā€¦ not sure. They are ROEBUCKS coverallsā€¦ navy blue and some sort of charcoal grey greenā€¦ which ones do i keep??? For some reasonā€¦ the navy ones seem to fit the myers mask moreā€¦ and in bright light etc public viewersā€¦ what should i do?

the left are more movie accurate, I would keep both though so you can use the darker ones for putting bullet holes in

Agreed with this. Lighting played a huge role in the appearance of the coveralls in H1 but that color seems spot on. Iā€™d use the navy pair for an H2 costume

Keep the charcoal grey green on the left in your pic. That more green coulor have a more classic 70s vibe. Always h1 at all for me.

I asked Dean Cundy about the color of the coveralls in H1 and he responded with Dark green. Wich would be spruce green because Tommy Lee Wallace said in a video that the coveralls werenā€™t olivewood.

Olivewood is usually described as a dark green/grey. This is a pair of olivewood (not my pair, but I believe this is the color used in H1)

Itā€™s not olivewood. Tommy lee Wallace said that olivewood is to gray. The table in the video had a spruce green tablecloth and Tommy Lee Wallace said that it was the same green.

MODERN olive wood is too grey whereas Vintage variations tend to be more green in my eyes.

i doubt that they used a modern olivewood back in 1978.

Thatā€™s my pointā€¦ he says olivewood is too gray, I believe heā€™s referring to a modern color of olivewood as the tone as evolved more as time went on. So olivewood essentially was more green, less grey in those older coveralls

Honestly, we wonā€™t know the color of the original coveralls until 1) we have finally found the exact brand pair used in the film, and 2) we know in what colors that article were produced. Until then, itā€™s all poor memory and speculation. I personally believe a grayish green.

Agreed, to an extent. I believe we can gather a solid enough opinion to make an educated guess on what they probably were. But I definitely think we wonā€™t truly know until theyā€™re located (or brand is found)

Thatā€™s the video I was talking about! I personally believe they used spruce green. I saw a photo of a JC Penny catalog, and there where 3 males who wore coveralls. The 1st one wore navy blue coveralls,
The 2nd one wore spruce green coveralls and the 3rd one wore fisher striped coveralls.

I remember buying a shit ton of old catalogs from 70ā€™s like JC Penneys, Sears, Montgomery Wards, etc. trying to find the right match. I actually posted that picture originally haha .
The second guy in that photo (page 432) is wearing olivewood, not spruce [emoji3](CORRECTION, they are spruce in that photo. My mistake!) Check out this other picture from the same catalog. The coveralls on the far left are also olivewood, yet appear a totally different color than those shown on that other page . Just like the originals used in the film changed color oftenā€¦ [emoji1]

The 2nd Model on page 432 is wearing spruce green coveralls. It evens says spruce green above his right shoulder. Tommy lee Wallace even said that the coveralls were greener than olivewood. If we compare the catalog spruce green coveralls with the spruce green tablecloth itā€™s safe to say that theyā€™re spruce green. If you donā€™t believe me, just watch the video I sent earlierer. Also added a comparison
