The thought crossed my mind too, I was looking for logger style boots w/ the flap that show ridges underneath.
Im still searching but still no luck on finding a pair with the ribbed toe

Fantastic article
hereās a pair with the cover fraying off, looks like one does have stitching, but itās not raised, but on the other boot, nothing is there
H2 Spruce Green Sears
I identified Lauries H40 knife If anyones interested. Its a Parker bros. k-636 Tanto Survival knife knife.
Everything matches up the rubber grips, the serrations, the screw cap on the bottom w/ al the survival kit inside the handle.
As long as I can remember, tribal knowledge has dictated that the H2 boots are Red Wing loggers, however Iāve never personally seen a pair that even comes close to the pattern of the screen used H2 boots. Well, I stumbled across these Iron Age logger boots and Iāll be damned if they arenāt the closest offering Iāve ever seen; they have the light stitching, the 2 rivets along the lace eyelets, even the stitching on the back below the pull tab matches.

Oh wow!!! Even the bi colored soles match. I havenāt examined the pics super close yet but I think you just busted an age old rumor 0.0

I did notice the seam of the heel caps line up differently on these vs Dick Warlockās pair, granted that could just be a matter of size difference; these are 10ās, so kinda small. The soles of these are specifically marked as āIron Ageā, though Iāve seen some varying styles with the yellow Vibram emblem. I might see if a shop like Magnoli Clothiers can replicate them down the road

Magnolia would charge quite a bit, theyāre nuts with their cyberpunk jacket, and they are a NZ based company
WOW! one of the best guides for halloween cosplayers ever! nice job! Any tips for the actual locations???
Any chance you could update the resurrection coveralls since they seem to have been figured out in the last few months? https://michael-myers.net/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=126038&start=90

Dude my work boots are Carolina boots and they look so similar
My pair of Montgomery Wards was on the first page, same with the Roebucks, nearly identical except for the collar is an actual plastic sewn-in button instead of a metal button
The pocket flap is different on the Wards. Itās rounded off at the ends like the Big Macs are. The Roebucks and Sears have the same pocket flap, but the Roebucks has the snap buttons.
Sorry if this has been addressed, but is it completely impossible that there was more than one knife on set?
I believe so too. Bobās death scene looks like they used a Dexter 12" model with a full on tang, as side angle looks thicker. The case XX 12" knife was used as the rivet on the top of the handle is rare to see. I only saw that type of rivet on a wear ever knife and those with full tang are hard to obtain too.
Any knowledge on the 63 Myers clown mask and costume?

They didnāt use 2 knives, they only used the Case Knife, plus there are behind the scenes shot of bob with the knife under the arm

There were 2. There was the hero case knife used for almost EVERYTHING and then some stunt knife held by Michael in Bobs death scene in a BTS shot.
The hero was used for the final take we see of course.

Given the budget though, how could a stunt knife have been found in time? The money would have gone to the equipment and editing etc

Well, thereās a photo of it. So it happened somehow! Haha
Unless itās a reflection, but it doesnāt appear that way. It looks like a rubber knife that warped or the paint did.

Thatās the shot I was gonna post too, it looks like the blade has marks on it instead of being a rubber one, plus a rubber knife would need to be molded and made off the real one, which they had no budget for
