The Definitive Guide to All Halloween 1-11 Masks, Boots, Coveralls, and Knives **PIC HEAVY**

I’m guessing it’s probably not rubber cast from the hero, but rather aluminium foil or duct tape (something reflective and shiny to fake being metal) wrapped cardboard that they probably created by tracing the hero knife. It didn’t have to look real, just convincing enough for the quick stab shot and safe enough to where it wouldn’t hurt if you accidentally got stabbed by it.

The side angle of the knife pre killing Bob doesn’t look like a case xx knife. It’s too thick looking. So, they either wrapped it something or it’s a different knife.

Looking at the knife in certain scenes.i just cannot see a full on tang. When the knife is in Bob or in the door i cannot see a tang but the handle looks the same, and the couch scene knife looks the same without a tang. The knife could pass as a wear ever 12" with no tang and some of those have the same handles as the case xx. It’s tough to tell. They used rare items in the 78 film.

Edit. Also some of the case xx 12" models have no tang but the same handle as well…

This^* it’s doesn’t look like a casting I guess, but rather a foil wrapped something lol. Glad you said that, I see it now.

They would have had to do it carefully, tin foil wrinkles so easily

its probably aluminum repair tape

Looks like 2 knifes were used? Could be the other is a case XX too or a wear ever 12" with the same type of handle. Both companies partnered with Cutco.

Those are all the same knife.

It’s odd. The side width on the one looks thicker. The one on the left has no tang.

If you look at the knife pre killing Bob it has no tang. Even wrapped you’d still see a tang.

That’d be the angle at which it is leaning toward the camera. The one on the left’s tang could very well be hidden in the shadow that is dead on that area.

I think you might have been confused by previous statements, no one is saying they wrapped the actual metal Case knife with the reflective tape but rather a piece of cardboard or something similar to make a quick non-lethal weapon for that testing shots

Pic on the L and R i cannot see a tang though. Guess been tricked by cleverness. Haha!

So far, I have acquired:

  1. NAG 75k Castle Special Edition
  2. Custom made coveralls “close” to the Sears Tradewears
  3. Vietnam Era combat boots
  4. Lamson knife (real one and TOTS)

I have a new addiction…

Thanks to a member on the Facebook group, I was able to purchase another pair in a wearable size, not to mention near mint condition. I’ve never seen Red Wing’s that were as close to the original as these.

Nah man, you’re 100% right. Until I see a tag in the hero boots labeled “red wing“ I’m not going to buy it. These boots are the ones IMO.

Great costume bro, its looks killer. I dont want to sound rude but you need to stop bumping this thread with costume pics.
This is the definitive guide. it’s made for identifying the exact coveralls that the actors wore onscreen in the film.

You should make a thread of your costume pics and keep updating it as you go along. thats better than bumping
seven old threads with the same pics.

I hope im not offnding you, you did a great job sewing the coveralls :partyman:
