I also remember in that shot of Jamie, there was a huge smudge on the forehead, which was compared to the blood tears stunt to say it was a match, then it was compared to the shot from H1 where I think Castle is holding the lady

That smudge was a stain on the photo when it was digitally scanned. There are correct versions of it out there that do not have the smudge which is included in this thread. But the unused stunt is the same mask used for the blood tears scene regardless.

It was in the definitive guide that GhostlyShape compared them, I do apologise if I am coming off rude, I am trying to not get the 2 stunts mixed up

The schoolyard stunt is the hallway/reveal mask.
The unused stunt (which makes no appearance on screen in H1) is the JLC mask/SBT H2 mask.

Hey all, just got around to updating the photos for the H40 hero section of my guide. Yesterday, good photos of the actual hero H40 popped up, so theyāve been added here. The photos I had previously were of a different mask which was not the hero. Sorry for any confusion that I mightāve created. Itās extremely hard to figure things out when it comes to H40, haha.

Itās not used in Kills, but it was going to originally be used for when he got caught in H40, but they never filmed it

Quick update, added a new mask to the resurrection section of the topic. I may end up removing it as I donāt have a lot of info on it, but enjoy.

You can really admire it more as a spectator looking sculpt in the cleaner version of the h18 I believe. Chris Nelson has proven himself quite well in this mask

Do we know for sure or not if the skull mask in Kills is a TOTS mask? To me it looked like a Don Post, obviously the other two masks are TOTS but I couldnāt see a silver shamrock chip or the right side copyright area on the skull. Iāve only seen the film once so far and I may have just missed it but I was looking for it.

Hey all! For those wondering yes I am planning on adding a KILLS section to this post soon. Iām waiting for more photos of the masks to show up (may take a while) and more info. I also want to avoid spoiling things for people as itās only been a few days since the movie came out. Please be patient!

Hey guys just a quick update, I had to add a disclaimer to the H40 section of this thread that will hopefully simmer down some confusion. I also removed the KH Rare from the H20 section of the thread as apparently its untrue, but if its proven otherwise Iāll add it back.
Do we know how many masks were used for kills?
Thereās at least 3-4 masks, not including the flashback, at least what I count as JJC main mask, Doug Tait Stunt Mask, Nick Castle Cameo Mask, Karens Death Mask
From what I can see from this photo, Nick is the first, Stunt 1, other I cannot read
Iām waiting for good clear pictures to pop up for all of the kills masks so I can add a section for it. I am completely unsure of how many versions of the main burnt mask there is though.

Thereās a piece of incorrect info about H20. The first mask used for H20 was the KNB mask. It was replaced with a remold of the part 6 mask for one day. Steve Miner, and Jamie Lee Curtis talked about this on the commentary for the movie. The part 6 mask was the second mask used, it wasnāt the first.
