It just goes to show you DP, doesn’t care anymore, if he did he would stop sending them overseas, plus he doesn’t go down to where they are made, and spend time looking over the process. Now if he did, we wouldn’t have this problem. Oh well like stated above, I’ll take my TOTS over DP any day…Dean
Don Post hasn’t cared for over a decade’ so it’s of very little suprise to me seeing more churned out garbage like this from those people.
The old one looks way better in my opinion. And agreed I’ll take my TOTS over DP.

The one on the left is better, at least it holds its shape! TOTS will be king as far as mass produced Myers goes, for a LONG time, if nobody steps up their game. And we all know DP will never step up their game.

Its amazing how such a renowned mask making company has regressed as time has gone on , with the things that are available today DP should be pulling out some amazing masks. How the hell do you go from a 1975 Kirk to this in 36 years 
Guys, chill it with the “DP doesn’t care” comments. He is a neat guy and I am sure wants all of you to have 75 Kirk masks in your hands for a reasonable cost. However, he is not the one making all the decisions/choices. If I am correct, he only works FOR the company who now OWNS and drives Don Post Studios. The parent company is responsible for the garbage posted in the picture.
The mask is laughable for what it is. However, such quality had been the only option for a while. Another example of why the Trick or Treat LICENSED H2 mask is a game changer.
I mentioned it on Facebook, but I think TOTS entering the Myers Game is going to force Paper Magic/ Don Post to release a better product… Then again, I highly doubt it. Considering, these masks are made in China (and we all know how that affects product quality) it would be nice for the competition to force PM/DP’s hand, but will it? The $70 price point really a joke considering how much it must cost for them in labor materials to make them…
Also, just to play devils advocate the lighting and stuffing on the DP is less then stellar (if it was a factor for the TOTS, it should be a universal factor for all Mass releases). Would like to see the new DP stuffed properly next to a TOTS in some good lighting.
I still think TOTS came out with the better product at a better price point. However, I will say that the newer DP offering is better then their last offering, by leaps and bounds.

DPS are the original “Bait and Switch” guys… EVERYTHING from them is crap that just rots away…I have indy stuff from 25 years ago and still in perfect condition. when you start with sh!t thats where you end up. I wouldnt trust post jr with the change to make a phone call…
