I’ve been playing DBD for a while too and Myers is of course my main, do yuo guys think the mask in DBD is inspired to the H20 one? sure it looks nothing like the original

I honestly am not sure on the licensing rights they obtained. Definitely looks like a modern H6 mixed with some H20 though. Kind of just a white mask we associate with Myers but no real Kirk features
not sure about the license myself, it seems to have H8 features also
To me it looks like a combination of all the OG masks other than h2.
I think they were definitely going for the h1 look, but to avoid licensing issues, they made it a little cartooney
Looks like they took inspiration from the Maniac and the original hero on the poster for H4

The game used to be amazing, but is slowly getting worse. I have almost 3000 hours now in the game and back in the day a couple years ago I loved every second of the gameplay. The community is terrible, I’ll leave it at that.
Yeah I’ve heard you can’t even see the Ping so if you are a Survivor and the killer has a crappy connection you’re just stuck. I do want to play as Myers and hope they just release a Halloween game as they did with F13th. If this movie does well hopefully they considerate it. This forum would give them enough sales to make it worth it
You can see the ping now, it’s just the ping indicator is usually off by a mile or the other player starts overloading their internet to get an unfair advantage. The community has come down to people complaining about killers being weak even though they are fine and actually starting to get too strong, and then the devs buff the killers again. New players come in and complain about stuff without learning how to use/counter something.

DBD is fun. Don’t hate but I prefer playing as a survivor, I think it’s harder. I ended up getting it for PC, PS4, and Xbox1. It is fun stalking around as Myers though.
…the mask in the OP looks like someone messed up the eyecut and decided to try and salvage the mask by throwing blood all over that eye. Lol

Really cool! I was wondering if someone would ever make a mask based on the Dead by daylight Myers mask. He is my main in the game, and I think they really nailed his character. To answer the above questions about what they based the mask on, as far as I know, the entire Halloween Michael Myers dlc was based solely on the original Halloween from 1978. The look of Myers, the music, the Haddonfield map, and the look of Laurie all prove that. Even the advertisement for the dlc uses the original 1978 Halloween logo font. When I look at the mask, I do get an H1 vibe, but the hair is wrong for H1. I wish they had gotten that right, but as it is in the game, it’s too short and spiky for some reason. Another little detail that has always bothered me about his in game appearance are his boots. In the game, they are brown, when they should be black. I don’t know how they messed that up. Overall though, I love the entire Halloween dlc for Dead by daylight.
I couldn’t find anything on the price they spent on rights for Mikey, it kinda just looks like a generic version of him but I’m currently hunting down a copy for PS4 I heard it’s cheap now and now that I’m almost done with Far Cry 5 and beat the Witcher in entirety I want a fun online game to play. Being Michael Myers is the best thing I could imagine lol. It seems like a Left 4 Dead online style of play and besides the lousy connection issues I definitely want to check it out
