Has anyone actually genuinely asked the guy what he is looking to get for it ? a realistic ballpark figure so you know where you stand.
Not that I know of or heard Anth! When I first message him on ebay, I said I was very interested in the mask and I would offer him 10k and he replied the following day just “NO.” Then I said okay would you be interested in 15k and the following day “NO.” That was it! Then I said okay I would do $20,000 because I would have to have Kelly Mann and Dante Renta fix the neck and foam fill it. I never heard back.
Right Matt,if it had been me interested i’d try and get him to make the first move by asking that question first off,i usually do this anyways when im considering doing a deal especially when there is “make an offer” or when it’s being advertised in this manner,it can make things less frustrating to know right from the get go where you stand instead of throwing offers his way to no avail,i find it strange he never replied to you after upping it another $5K thats not exactly chump change,could be a sign he really doesn’t want to sell it and is just an attention seeker,who the hell knows the method behind this madness lol.
Yea I know what you are saying Anth but I wasn’t spending anymore than 10-20K so I started lowest and went to my max. Maybe he really wants to sell it for tons. Good luck to whoever gets it. I know I will be jealous lol

someone has written that the mask has herpes and various other deformitys in faded print as a description.
I have always just called it lip bumps… but hey, if the guy thinks ‘herpes’ attracts buyers, let him have at it.

This listing pisses me of every time I see it in my search results. It was funny at first, but now…
Someone should ask him to add more (larger sized) pictures. What really bugs me is the zoom. He’s paying money every time he lists for the options, but their pointless. You’d also think if your trying to sell something for a million, you’d use a tripod and correct lighting ( I take better photos for items that are 99 cents openers). If he’s not going to sell it, then at least give us some proper photos… The rot bothers me as well… You know this guy just has this out and about. Bet he smokes around it, sprays all the cologne he sells around it… It’s like child abuse.

True. However, they do add up. He’s listed it what 4-5 times? That adds up. He must get off on watchers. All he’s going to get is watchers, as that’s all Ebay is anyways these days.

I could be wrong but I think that if he were doing it for attention and cruised the site, he would pop in and stir things up. That’s what people who crave attention do. I have another theory…
He wants somebody in particular to notice this ad.
Could he be trying to insure the mask and by listing it at such an outrageous price be driving the insurable value up? He clearly doesn’t want to sell it BUT he wants it, and its value, to be acknowledged right? That’s could explain why the listing is crap, the pictures are awful and why no thought was put into the shipping. I think its a hoop he has to jump through for some reason.
When ever you have an Original 75 Captain Kirk advertised for sale on the open market it’s always gonna be talked about and brought up by someone or other’ especially on here given the nature of the background it has in association with Halloween and what it mean’s to us Halloween fans,and with that rediculous price tag gives people even more reason to bring it up in topic.
After looking at this auction for a while, it sure looks like this is Chans(Josh’s) old 75 based on how in the pictures it shows it being stored in an upside down tin. I cant tell if the eyes were cut out from the pics, maybe someone else can.

I see, so the eyes do in fact look they were cut out and reglued. I remember Chan(Josh) cutting them out when he first got it, then glued them back in.
