Sorry, I didn’t see this thread, could someone please share the link?
Pinned at the top. “Interview with Mark Roberts”

…And the fact Photobucket decided to be a bunch of stooges and start charging for third-party hosting didn’t help, since it made it a lot harder to post pics (the sites uploader is junk, so don’t even try to tell me to use that)…
I LOL’d hard at this.
Some years back I had a profile, but I don’t remember the name and I wasn’t active - just looking. The horror spirit has grown on me again the last couple of years and since the Ghostface forum is dead and buried, I decided to jump on here.
Ghostface and the Scream universe is my “first love”’ but I have always valued and enjoyed the classic(At least in my eyes) figures such as Michael Myers, Freddy, Leatherface and Jason.
I really enjoy seeing people’s excitement about getting new masks, showing costumes, talking about movies and discussing everything in between. There’s some really cool guys on this site and I hope people will continue to contribute to this incredible site. I surely will try to do my part fellas
I think the influx of mask choices really had a huge impact as well on the activity. Before Nik shattered the scene with, what I believe was, affordable accurate myers masks, we were all clamoring here to the latest and greatest sculpt, which usually disappointed in some way or another in the end. I remember when the NMM78 came out and I thought it was the greatest thing ever. Very first mask I owned and the addiction only got worse from there as new masks came out over the years. Back then you had to get in on every ‘run’ and most of us were dropping hundreds on masks, sight unseen, with waiting lists up to a year or more. It was absurd, but exiting to be part of a relative small community that shared this odd passion. From the excitement of a newly found '75, to the scandals of recasting, unfilled orders, and projects that never came to light, it was a very exiting time to be a myers fan.
Years after I began, I sat in my office staring up at 20 white faced masks and realized I was only collecting to keep up with what was going on here. I asked myself “If MM.net didn’t exist, would you still own all these?” and the answer was no. Shortly thereafter, I cleared out my stock and moved on. I still visit from time to time, but it’s nowhere near an obsession as it once was. I was fortunate to own some very nice masks, from my original run NO psycho to my #15 KHDW, I don’t regret a single purchase or the time I spent here, the NightOwl forums, HMA, etc.
I don’t use Facebook, so I am glad that this site still has a sustainable level of activity as it’s still a resource for my myers related news.
Derek, for all the crap you endured all this time keeping MM.net alive. You’ve seen it all.
