Thought I could wait to post this... Sears Tradewear score!!

Ever since Michael Myers 1978 posted his sears tradewear score/identification I have been scouring the web, rushing to notifications from eBay when new listings matched “sears tradewear vintage”, and 2 days ago I finally found a pair!! I saw the title as “sears tradewear” and assumed it was just gonna be the same old pair- either herringbone twill or navy with a snap collar. Then I squinted real hard at the thumbnail and didn’t see a snap on the collar, clicked on it and what do you know! They were a match- had a button/hole, seamless back, poly/cotton mix! I swear on my life I’ve never clicked “purchase” faster than in that moment

They look navy in a few of these photos, but the seller told me they’re actually dark green and the lighting is off in those photos. She told me that the last picture in this set best shows the true color of them. I am beyond ecstatic to have scored these! Tons more photos when they arrive!!!

Very cool score!

Nice, you can see the greenish tint in the last picture

Thank you guys! Super happy to have a pair. Glad I found them! Now for a vintage Case knife…

Awesome score Nathan! Congrats!  :drinkers:

Thank you Caleb!! Going to come in handy a lot for my replicas!

Awesome score brother!

.

I saw these, would have grabbed them were they a bit bigger. Congrats on the score man, the price wasn’t too bad either if I remember correctly!

Thank you both! Even and inline at the bottom, then on the top of the pocket the proper left is a hair above the proper right. At least from the photos I have! I’ll check it out closer in person

Not too bad at all, especially for what they are! Thank you brother

The next big Question, can you match the fabric colour for replicas?

Provided its the correct color, yes I can! I emailed a few people at pantone and they are willing to work with me on it to match and create a customer dye formula if need be.

Excellent! I’m on for grabbing a replica pair of them when you can get them made! though I will say I am not a very tall guy

holy cow!!! you lucky dog!

I’ll keep that in mind man! Thank you for your interest

Thank you man
